The Bible was written by many people guided by the wisdom of God. The koran by one man's ramblings of which many he did not think were from God. I do not offer any apology for being a christian and my two year study of Islam that has made me a much stronger Christian and never even tempted to be a muslim since both the Hadith and koran make no sense whatsoever

My Grandmother is diabetic and said she hasn't had a chocolate pie in years. I would like to make one for her for Thanksgiving. I know how to make a normal chocolate pie, but I can't seem to find a good pie crust that is sugar free! Any advice?

So the catholic church says that birth control is bad and all that, but they believe that the family planning method is fine. So if the whole point of getting rid of birth control is because it is conflicting with openess to birth/life, then how is the family planning any different? If you plan out days where for sure you cannot get pregnant, doesnt THAT defeat the purpose of openness to birth as well? Just a thought.

What single aspect of your life could be changed that would effect an overall change in your livelyhood? I have asked this question on a few different forums and gotten a good variety of answers from as simple as a 6:00 wake-up call every morning so he could get to work on time to answers as complex as squashing racism. ty for all serious responses.

I am curious as to what exactly you need to positively change your life right now and would you be willing to contribute resources such as time and money, and if not, why not.

Feel free to ramble on if necessary to be as specific as necessary. And if you feel comfortable with it I would appreciate knowing your location or basic region that you live on. And if possible what difficulties that area presents for you

When someone posts an imflammatory questionto the R and S board that they seem to think is terribly funny, why not just respond with humor?

What they expect, is for all the Christians or whichever group they are targeting, to scream, rant, yell, condemn, and give them all the negative attention they desire.

Why not just respond with humor? Which is the exact opposite of the response they want you to have, and thus you defeat the dishonestly asked question from the outset.

I have to admit, that it gets difficult to spend much time at all on the R and S board. Everyone seems to scream, yell, and condemn. And that atmosphere begins to reflect in my own posts.

I ´d just frequently heard about the rumours...there are certainly such gentlemen too in Germany. Someone from Peru explained to me, if someone could not write well german, most of them have a prejudice feeling toward them and they insult him directly. Do they have more prejudice feelings towards the foreign people than any others who are able to learn and read well english or italian ?

"When you dig a pit for your neighbor to fall in , you shall fall in it yourself", are these verses something that Christians who rant about other Christians should consider?

What's your opinion? What do you think about the woman who refused to cover up while feeding her kid on the plane and then got kicked off? What about all the clever slogans the protesters came up with? (Got breast milk? Don't be lactose intolerant, etc.) Do you think we need to nip(ple) public breastfeeding in the bud?

Could we all get along after that? Would we be able to put aside our differences in beliefs so that we could unite as a country like we once did?

One of the kids I counsel has community service. The problem is, we are currently under-staffed and it is difficult to get this individual out a soup kitchen or animal shelter to volunteer. Are there things that this kid could do that would count as community service, without leaving the facility? I was thinking something along the lines of sending Christmas cards to the troops, or organizing a canned food drive among the staff, etc.
