I live in Germany and I cannot speak any German whatsoever. I am English and I have never had any prejudice shown towards me. Most Germans are not prejudiced, but there are some that are.
To these people there is a separation between the types of immigrant groups in Germany. 'White' immigrants, those from Scandinavia, Australia, Japan, USA, North and West Europe are ok and rarely experience any prejudice. 'Black' immigrants, from Southern and Eastern Europe, Africa, South America, Turkey, Middle East will experience prejudice from some people. I have a friend who found it very difficult to get an apartment here because she was Italian. She can speak good German, but I found it easier to get an a place to live. Weird, huh?

There will always be prejudice people.
How man times has a German wronged you ?
How many times has an English person wronged you? An American?
How many times have u wronged yourself
Honestly there will always be people who will wrong you and be prejudice against you and they are from different religions and nationalities and races so I can confidently say 'No, some Germans are prejudice but others are not.''

German is one of my favourite countries to visit. In fact, I'll be heading for the Frankfurt christmas market in a couple of weeks time.
One of the reasons that I like Germany is the attitude of the people.... Certainly you will get prejudice in Germany - from a very small minority of people....but that is true of ANY country, and is more to do with individual people rather than a national trait

Germans aren't prejudice, being born and raised there. They will actually be really excited if you attempt to speak or write in german if you are American or English, or any other nationality.
There are a lot of Turks that come over to Germany, and I know some are prejudice to them, because they cause problems, example, the boys wont listen to women teachers because they believe women are inferior.
But that isn't because they are Turkish, just because they cause problems. Germans are very friendly and accepting.

The worse experience I've had in my tour to Europe was actually the British and not the Germans. You'd be amazed how much garbage I got from the british ppl in London for having an American accent and carrying a blue passport.
Germans were much more helpful and nicer!

sure. Germans are nationalistic at heart yet many affiliate that with Nazism so hence Germans are ashamed to particular their real thoughts and be happy to be Germans. to no longer positioned u off yet each and every each and every person is racist in one way no longer in basic terms Germans. i'm no longer German nor white i'm First united states of america (close by Canadian) yet i could nicely recognize ways Germans ought to experience approximately their native land being overrun with Auslanders (Turk,Muslims, etc.) Integration is a issue with many German Turks and Germans are no longer the sole Europeans who share this sense of intrusion. maybe you will possibly experience extra at homestead in case you chosen an Asian united states of america to flow to next time...
