Is it true that it takes action to get motivation?

Self-contrived visual affirmations of my future ideal self. I think about what i will be like in 5-10 years and "sacrifice today, for a better 2morrow", so to speak. I just know that every win or success, no matter how minor, will all equal up to a bigger and brighter future. Motivation requires minor instances of gratification which should outweigh the dissapointments, but if you do encounter dissapointments, persevere through the adversity or down-trodden period, and the gratification feels oh so much better, more than it would with nothing challenging you. Motivation is key, but what makes motivation work is when you have no inhibitions to bog you down. Not caring about what people think about you, not caring about getting down and dirty (but still maintain ethicality). Trust me, all the people who worked from dirt and rose to triumph, they weren't in the glamarous of situations, and now all their hardwork has paid off. GOOD LUCK!
