my parents said they would either give me like a bunch of presents or i can get like a lot of money....so should i choose money or presents?

Hi ---Through my own experience I can tell you that the sound of money is nice but when its comes right down to Christmas morning and you have nothing to open it can be disappointing and a little depressing. Its the happiness that comes from the gift of giving and receiving ----- money in my opinion takes away from the reason for the season -----which is the celebration of our Lord's birthday. Money is great but if I were you I would prefer the gifts (they feel more "from the heart")-------------maybe your birthday is a better time to have the cash.

I think it would be more fun to be surprised with presents, but if you have something extremely specific you know you want, you might take the money so you can go pick it out yourself. I, personally, would pick presents. But it's up to you, whatever you wanna do.

Depends if they buy you useful gifts. If they buy clothes you don't like or things you don't need normally, then I'd take the money. That way you wont upset them being as they have given you 2 options.

Money...then you can use it to buy what you want, including a gift for your wonderful parents who are not only generous but giving you a choice. (If you don't get them a gift, maybe a gift card or take them out to dinner.)
