as a life stye choice. For example people who claim to have a direct communication with a god are widely tolerated and not treated for their illness. Why is this? Is it right that this happens?

while at the same time, people who say they can communicate with those who have passed on, are not widely tolerated,,, so it isnt being liberal, nor that society accepts it, society accepts some, the more vocal or majorities, communication with those other then on this earth in human form,, im not sure i would refer to any of it as psycotic conditions,,,

How do you know that people who say they have direct contact with god don't?The whole Bible is based on people communicating withGod. I'm not sure, but I don't think god or Jesus wrote a single word in the Bible. It was written by men and it is revered to this day. So does this mean that all persons who go to church and believe in what the Bible says are psychotic? I know that in the Bible, Jesus was crucified for saying he was the son of God, they thought he was crazy and I would almost bet that if someone was to say that now, people would do the same thing to he/she as was done to Jesus. Just my opinion though.

Well, communication is a sending and receiving of a message. When people pray, and their prayers are answered: How is this NOT communication with God?
