Bellybuttons are where the umbilical cord connects to the infant while it is inside the womb in order to feed it. When the infant comes out of the womb in childbirth, the doctors remove this cord (or it removes itself naturally if there are no doctors) and what is left is a bellybutton. Adam and Eve did not pop out of a womb, therefore they would not have bellybuttons. It would be safer to say that they had the genetic blueprint for bellybuttons that they passed onto their descendants.

The story of Adam and Eve is not historical. Any minister, priest, or rabbi worth their ministry will tell you that.

Of course they did, we're all descendants of them and we have bellybuttons, so why shouldn't they have bellybuttons. They are humans after all.
