Are Americans really dispised by Europeans like we are led to believe by the media? If so, it would almost certainly be due to a lack of understanding, where is the break-down? The vast majority of Americans are warm caring people.

Do they know Whites fought, and died for their freedom? If Whites "are"
indifferent to Blacks, it's because of the constant assualt on Whites by many
Blacks still today. Neither of us having anything to do with what happened over a 100 years ago! Equality cannot be onesided! It requires "mutual respect"!
I will probably get bullcrap answers, but the Black communities are the ones self-destructing over this! With a large portion of Black males doing time.
Think about it!

I've asked this before, but I'll ask again.

What is greatness?

I have a picture in my mind of greatness, and then again---I don't. Sometimes I think it would be unfathomable to really imagine greatness, because its a thing we name too easily, but never really know.

I want to know what people think greatness is, what it takes for a person to become great--what it takes anything to reach greatness.

I think of Sam, or his son, From Steinbeck's "East of Eden". But then again, that's only something that's been fed to me by a book, it's not something I've devised and recognized as great by myself. Those people aren't even real.

So, other than cliche names that come to mind---please, give me your idea of greatness. Past the media hype and ridiculous blah blah blah's, give me something you've really thought about. Something that maybe even bothers you.

What is greatness? Thanks.

Or /and what foreign nationals did you use to live next door to or went to school with. By nationality of birth or citizenship, not parents or grandparents.

I come from coastal Sussex, which although a port town is not cosmopolitan like London.

The foreign nationals are increasing rapidly, more new ones this year than any other. Some I do not know which part of eastern Europe. These are new nurses.
