so this guy thinks hes got it all figured out rite lol, well it happens that life span is always changing 100 years ago it was 50 and according to scientists new breakthroughs in nanotech and genetic engineering in approx 20 years will make humans live to be way beyond 120. now when this happens your bible will remain the same at 120 years but of course no one will care anymore.......... why do people always think these things are just set in place forever, when did humans stop evolving?

Since i was 5 or 6 years old if i'm not mistaken,i have a sudden interest in either watching tv that shows dramas or movies that has a hero performing CPR on the heroine to revive her back to life either due to drowning, asphixiation, heart attack, etc. until now.I also loves to read medical books with CPR illustrations(female as the victim) when i go to the library.Sometimes i did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions on my wife for fun.My wife does admit that i'm kinda weird for choosing this as a fetish but later on she does'nt mind at all.She said she love it to since she get used to it for quite a long time.I do worry if i might broke her ribs or even interupt her normal heart rythm while doing chest compressions on her but so far she's ok.Seriously i love her so much and really don't want her to get hurt just because of my weird fetish. Is this something normal for a men to have such a fetish? If it's normal/not normal, can you guys tell me what's the logic for such?

I was reading an article that basically said that religion loses its credibility when it says things that are different than what science teaches. In the article, the idea was being thrown out that it was time for religions to quit speaking against homosexuality.

The author of the article was saying that homosexuality has been proven to be something that is determined by birth. The thinking is that if it isn't a choice, then homosexuality can't be against the will of God.

It's something along the lines of God only hearing the prayers of the righteous or Him not hearing the prayers of the unfaithful .. I haven't even heard of it since I was young and now I am looking for it and wondering if it's even in there...

It may eventually be possible, because of nano technology, to upload all your memories, self-awareness... everything that makes you 'you, into a virtual computer generated world that would make you all but immortal.

Provided that you could be comfortable in such a world, would you choose to 'live' that way rather than die?

How do you say "I love his use of vibrant colors and how unique this painting is" Thanks!

For US citizens: How do you view the united states?

I have an essay (its due Wednesday) but I think I need more opinions on the subject then I have at the moment. This isn't a time for hate but it is a time to express your opinion, if that opinion is a negative one, then so be it but tell me why you have such a view. I appreciate the help and your time, thank you.

ps. I also have a simulair question for those from other countries which is here at: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aj3WfHse4LnH_oEFkPMEoAcjzKIX?qid=20061120224228AAskvHY

Why do most families eat mashed potatoes and yams for
Thanksgiving? Is it a traditional quality? If so, what the story behind it?

I znowu w środku cała drżę
Znowu brak mi tchu
Gdy czuję twój wzrok na sobie
Sama nie wiem jak oprzeć się mu
A mogłabym przysiąc na wszystko,
Że ten płomień już dawno zgasł
A jednak jakaś siła
W twe ramiona mnie na nowo pcha

Im not a "flowery" person but a friend has just lost her father. I remember reading a very lovely comforting poem on a condolence card before, but I cant find it. Its about a person standing sad saying goodbye to their loved one, saying There He Goes. While they are doing that, there are other people waiting, smiling saying Here He Comes. I would be grateful if anyone could find it for me. Thankyou

Sex before married also including relationship between man and woman by living together, having baby without married.

I met this guy on eharmony, and he said he was a "non-practising pagan." He also said some other things, mainly that he once embezzled 10K from his employer, and I felt we were not compatable. He asked if we could be friends, and I said okay. I came to this conclusion though, that what he really wanted was to hang around and see if I would become interested in him. I finally told him we couldn't be friends, and he sent back the weirdest email, stating that I really wasn't "friend material." I heaved a sigh of relief, but now, five days later, I have this heavy feeling in my chest and this desire to call him, and it makes no sense. Yeah, he was cute, but there was nothing inside for me to connect to. Yeah, he was funny, often times either funny or "not on" (and he would sound exhausted), but he said many very disturbing things. Now I find myself thinking about him, and I feel compelled to call him. How can this be?

Cuz you know we all have probably liked a friend at one point in our life. I told her about my sexuality but didn't go as far as telling her I liked her. Well, we were at dinner the other day as friends and she joked around about us "..... ..." (sorry, keeping P.G. if you want to know details, then e-mail me) over the phone when a friend called. You know how those sexual innuendos go. Ooh, I got so turned on when she was talking like that. I should have winked at her or something, I just laughed. I am really unsure if she likes me or if that was supposed to be making fun of me. She has a silly sense of humor though, so I am thinking it was out of fun.

Anyway, back to my ?..how did you tell your friend you liked 'em? Any really good way other than "I like you" or kissing 'em...? Please help, I am confused. I want to keep this to myself, but I feel like there might be something there and don't want to live forever with regret. Other times I think I should keep this to myself
