Since i was 5 or 6 years old if i'm not mistaken,i have a sudden interest in either watching tv that shows dramas or movies that has a hero performing CPR on the heroine to revive her back to life either due to drowning, asphixiation, heart attack, etc. until now.I also loves to read medical books with CPR illustrations(female as the victim) when i go to the library.Sometimes i did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions on my wife for fun.My wife does admit that i'm kinda weird for choosing this as a fetish but later on she does'nt mind at all.She said she love it to since she get used to it for quite a long time.I do worry if i might broke her ribs or even interupt her normal heart rythm while doing chest compressions on her but so far she's ok.Seriously i love her so much and really don't want her to get hurt just because of my weird fetish. Is this something normal for a men to have such a fetish? If it's normal/not normal, can you guys tell me what's the logic for such?

Well it is a bit odd. But then that is why the word fetish is used. I believe whatever two adults agree to do in the privacy of their own space is ok, as long as it doesn't include animals, children or extreem injury or pain.

You just need to make sure that you control your fetish and that you don't take it to an extreem. Never let it hurt anyone. Never do it to a child or someone who isn't your partner.

Just don't do the chest compressions very hard. You can play-act without hurting her.

So, you control your fetish.....don't let it control you.

Everybody has some fetish of sort or nature. While I've never heard of anyone having one to CPR, I don't see why not. It involves its role playing at playing a hero. So, it makes sense :)

As fetishes go, it isn't the MOST dangerous out there. But I would be VERY careful those chest compressions. If it at all hurts, or is uncomfortable for her, STOP.

Since you have read extensively, and brought up the question, you already know the risks. So be VERY VERY careful, and gentle.

If you are truly worried that you might (or will) hurt your wife in a moment of passion with this fetish, I would suggest you try skipping the the chest compressions, or just placing your hands there and doing mock ones.

Some possibilities:
*You need the attention and respect of being a hero
*This was the first image to which you were able to fix your need to heal, save, or be powerful
*You have a calling as a healer: doctor, nurse, etc.
*You're just a little strange

ps Give the wife a rest; get a practice dummy (as in a plastic model on which to practice; I'm not calling you names : ) ). I have been getting certified every few years for many years, and have always been told that ribs can and WILL break, even when CPR is done right. It's probably not the best fool-around hobby to take up-- at least not with living people.

NEVER EVER DO CPR ON A LIVE HEALTHY PERSON!!! Yes I was yelling at you because I want to get your attention! Why do you think they use dummies when they teach classes? When I was taught CPR, we were told to NEVER practice on another person. You could interrupt her normal heart rhythms and she could have serious trouble. Or even die. Or, yes, you could break her ribs. You are very lucky she has been okay so far.

I have no idea why you have this strange fetish, but it is a dangerous one. Either get a dummy to play with, or get some professional help.

Please don't do this anymore!
