so this guy thinks hes got it all figured out rite lol, well it happens that life span is always changing 100 years ago it was 50 and according to scientists new breakthroughs in nanotech and genetic engineering in approx 20 years will make humans live to be way beyond 120. now when this happens your bible will remain the same at 120 years but of course no one will care anymore.......... why do people always think these things are just set in place forever, when did humans stop evolving?

You assume God will let this world exist another twenty years.

The 120 years that is mentioned in the Bible is not the life span for people, but was the time from then until God was to bring Judgment on the world with the Flood.

You've answered your own question:

Your faith (belief) in the evolution of science transcends the moments when the wheel turns slowly. At many times in history, scientific research and progress have almost been lost, as I'm sure you well know.

Some people's faith transcends history as well... like those who accept and believe in the Bible. Some will always care, just as others invest themselves in what they choose to believe.

Voltaire's the fella who said that "Nothing is permanent except change." He was right. Invariably, times and mores and people do change... as does how they choose to profess their faith. A lot has changed... but the foundation is still the same. Whether it is shown in science or in the Bible, belief in either requires an investment of belief.

If I am wrong, and still around to see it... you have my apologies... ~ Andrea

And before the flood it was 900 years....so what?

Point is they just dicovered the max is 120, the bible said max is 120 thousands of years ago.

Hope you open your heart up to other opinions one day, and not live to attack others. Who hurt you? Hope you get well one day...

remember....hating someone is like burning your house down in order to kill a rat! It hurts you more than them

Best of luck my angry brother

humans are actualy constantly evolving its just not that noticeable. how else do u explain the differences in people. or why some people are more adept to things then others. football players are geting bigger and faster. kids become smarter then the perents and so on and so forth

tsk tsk! silly you. human didn't evolve so they can't have stopped evolving. the first human was made out of dirt and the 2nd human was made out of one the first human's ribs. (belly buttons were just for decoration.) and the first humans lived to be like 900 years old. i bet nano technology and genetic engineering can't beat that.

**wink**
