Real estate agents used to enforce redlining, where they would only show black people the black part of town, and whites the white part of town.
Federal laws had to be enacted, and today if you ask a real estate agent what the racial characteristics of a neighborhood is, they will refuse to answer for fear of breaking the law.

they are always trying to sell you a bill of goods(means 'to put something over on someone'.) rael estate agants make homes and prices sound better than they are KKK wants people to believe that blacks, jews, etc are bad because of their skin color and whites are superior due to their skin color they also try to convince blacks to move into certain neighborhoods as there are neighrborhoods that don't want anyone except white people living there
