It may eventually be possible, because of nano technology, to upload all your memories, self-awareness... everything that makes you 'you, into a virtual computer generated world that would make you all but immortal.

Provided that you could be comfortable in such a world, would you choose to 'live' that way rather than die?

Yes, it could be possible but are you willing to live that way throught out your life? If you ask me, I prefer to live as human being. To be able to live, to care for each other.
There is nothing wrong if we die one day, its because we are HUMAN BEINGS.

People do NOT need to die. The world would only get crowded if people kept having sex after immortality is achieved. Just regulate it.

Anyway, if my sentience and all qualities that make me who I am could somehow interface with a computer and I could communicate with my loved ones in that matter, sure.

The trick would be figuring out how to link one's sentience to a computer, though...

I wouldn't want to 'live' that way. The basic fun of being a human is having emotions. Computers can't have that, so it's really pointless.

No, every body & every thing needs to die to rest in peace & in order to allow new life to develope or else the world would get to crowded

No, I like being human, having emotions and what not, plus it wouldn't be me. I mean so what if a computer had my memories, that doesn't mean anything if it doesn't have my soul.
