Why is there so much sex and violence in the world? The bible was about real people, real places, real wars. It isn't the bible that is evil, it is the people that did all those things. So stop pointing at the bible. It is the human race that has the problem, The bible just tells our story as a race.

bible is a book which is written on what actually happened and it does not hide anything.. It does not make its heroes look as if they are men without any mistake. it shows that God chose men with mistake and wrong doings.. and that God does not show any favouritism. So because the lifestyle of the people of those times were that way, thats the reason all these come in the Bible as well.

Sex & Violence in the Bible???

Look at Life....It is all about Sex & Violence!!!

Everyone is interested in Sex & Violence, Hence the popularity of these sorts of Movies.

But in Reality, Sex and relationships is a big part of everyones life.
And Violence is usually the result of Sex, Relationships, and Envy on some level.

Sex is eternal...But think about this...There has been about 100 wars in the last century alone...Violence is everywhere, don't get mugged on your street, because violence is lurking. The bible is quite tame compared to real life.

Because the Bible deals with every part of life and life is full of sex and violence. After the fall (aka sin entering the world through humans eating the forbidden fruit Gen 3) our nature is not aligned with God’s will. Sex, as God planed it, is not a bad thing it is rather a necessary part of life. Some of the descriptions of love and sex in the Bible are actually metaphors for God’s relationship with the church.

Ling: The Holy Bible is a history of the human race at its humanistic "best" and its "worse". Take two 2 year olds, and give them only one toy to play with - the human nature comes out -doesn't it? God, at the very beginning of creation fore-knew humans would reject Him and cling on to their own ways and knowledge. He also; knew that people ultimately, would end up wiping themselves off the earth (atomic weapons), turn to violence when physical resources become scarce. Strange how we today, as people make sex and violence a more and more event in our lives as a society. Since the human nature in people is constant [unchanged] throughout history, it is a very safe bet that things will become more progressively, worse and worse. Like the Roman and the Greek societies before us, we too are headed for extinction. Illicit sex and violence are hallmarks of a culture on the decline - historical fact.

You really don't understand the bible, do you? Those are the two most common things that defile the body when you're without God! The bible doesn't condone any of that junk, it shows what happens when people don't come to know God! Did you understand what I'm saying?

Human nature when not living in the will of the Father, and He did not create women just to please men. That is a LIE. He said that a man was to love his wife as his OWN body and to treat her as the weaker vessel and to take care of her as Christ had taken care of the Church.

Tranlation=Christ DIED for the Church,
That is how much a man is to love his wife.
Read the WHOLE Bible !!!
