How many people in the western world would know how to fend for themselves if they didn't have technology to help them? As people rely more and more on microwaveable convenience food, even the basic skills of cooking are being lost. How many people really know how to generate electricity, start a fire, make a pair of shoes, read a map, find water, give basic first aid, etc etc etc...
Doesn't this make us vulnerable and overly reliant on our governments to help us? Or should i stop being so paranoid and go back to watching Eastenders?

i believe that it will put an end to many senseless wars and would save a lot of peoples lives from being killed by religious extremists and fanatics... plus those people being used by cults...

there are a large number of people who believe that god exists, but believ that there is no proof for gods existence. these people are called agnostic theists.

does their belief in god without proof for gods existence mean they have faith or do they need proof for gods existence to have faith.?

Why would someone flirt with you if they don't really want to date them or have a relationship? And its not someone who is just flirty by nature?

Ive seen alot of posts lately, by non-believers, who keep bringing up how the world is in terrible shape, and if there is a God, he did a really crappy job of the whole thing. Do you, as a Christian, or any belief for that matter, feel like you have a better outlook on society than that? Are you more hopeful? Or do you think he goofed somehwere to?

I need to 3 of my own prayers for religion class, we are making "children's prayer book", but the prayer CAN'T BE FROM A BOOK, THE BIBLE, OR INTERNET! It must be my own made up one or the mark is: 0

The guidelines are:
Line 1: One noun (love)
L2: Two adjectives to describe the noun seperated by "and"
L3: A verb (action word) and an adverb (describing the action)
L4: Start with "like..." and compare it to something
L5: Start it with "If only ..." and state what you with it could be

I've been looking at the guidelines for like 30 minutes trying to figure out how to put this prayer thing together, and I asked this before but people where giving me stuff from the bible, and peopel where saying "let God tell you". Well I mean come on ... I'm 15.

So please, any ideas on how to write it or w/e?

I have recently become a Christian. I love to feast on the Word when I'm in church but I just cannot get into the praise and worship. I usually turn up late just to avoid it! The Christian rock group 'Electralyte' will be performing at my church soon. Everyone is so looking forward to seeing them. Does Christian music grow on you as you develop as Christian. (I can already see the responses of the witty non-Christians!)
