Just looking for things to do in manchester, got to entertain the girlfriend. Already decided on the wheel and christmas market, other ideas gratefully received!

Sundae - top lass!! When at uni in the late seventies, did just that, with Indy food almost coming out of our ears...then drunkenly strolled up Great Western Street to a shebeen off the main road for very strong Jamaican rum and ganja by the pound!
Of course nowadays the latter is next to impossible, but there's still the colourful lighted-up Wilmslow Road for nosh.
They say Chinatown's also good at Christmas.

i live in manchester its got a great nightlife you could also visit the printworks its got resteraunts and a cinema . its in the town centre also try castlfield for entertainment .or if your a theatre goer try the palace theatre. canal street has a great club scene its renowned in manchester as a gay area but there are some great bars and clubs. whaterever you choose you will have a great time and so will your girlfriend good luck enjoy

Ditto - i need to entertain mine in manc as well.
Go for a meal at the pub opposite the wheel - its nice and not overly priced!

i went to Manchester last weekend for my birthday, we had a night out in tiger, tiger it was great the people are very friendly in Manchester. it was great music and good fun i would def have a night out there, enjoy !!!

There is so much to do it's impossible to say. What do you both like to do? Theatre, clubs, restaurants, spa treatments. There is so much culture in the area so do your research and both agree on what to do.

Take her out for a flash meal, make her a flash meal with all the extras, or just spoil her rotten.
