What you want is atmosphere. I've always found heavy, dark draperies invoked wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful tapestries on the walls, and older looking antique furniture. Of course that's just me. What do you like? What invokes a magickal mood for you? Think of those things, then incorporate that style into your room. From the linens all the way to the candle holders and various herb or offering bowls. Tables and the tops of dressers can become make shift altars that even roommates can't identify as such.

Well, I made my room more religious, but the same thing can work for you.
Some well placed crystals, a nice shaw over your dresser (I've seen some wiccan friends do this as an alter cloth), nice smelling incense or candles, and a statue here or there of what magick means to you. I have angels in my room, you might put up a goddess statue or something.

Not sure if this would look silly or not, but how about glow in the dark stars for the ceiling or walls? Or if not glowy ones, perhaps just sparkly ones.
One thing I've been meaning to do is take some of my fave cards from the Witches Tarot deck and have them framed.

Stars, planets, the moon, heavenly bodies. There are some lovely tapestries out there that you can hang on your walls if you like, really beautiful calming images. You might also have a small statue of the God and Goddess. There are some lovely spiral Goddess/God statues out there that might make you feel calm and peaceful. I also suggest finding some pure incense and burning it whenever you meditate. Look for things in nature/natural stores, as they'll have fewer chemical fixatives. Lavendar is great for calming if you need to be calm to focus.
Blessed be!

Flourescent blacklights can actually greatly increase the magickal feeling of a room; at least they do for me. Combine blacklights with incense and it can be VERY magickal. Good luck and blessed be!

Put hanging crystals in your windows to refract rainbows around your room, have lots of little natural objects like shells and pebbles you could collect when you go places, write some inspiring affirmations and put some of them around your room.get some books about interesting people you admire and posters or photos of them and postcards of art that you really admire. Make some collages of your own and put yourself in them in your ideal environment and situation.

Take a trip to never never land and get some pixie dust. then prance around your room and sprinkle the pixie dust over all of your furniture. That should do the trick. Oh, magic is not spelled with a "K".
