and ask this:

What is the one thing that you do/have done that is super embarrassing? Something maybe loser-ish or something that you want to share?

I am a huge sap and have cried over movies (NOTEBOOK) books, songs. But I think the worst that my friends laugh at me about is that I actually have cried over a Pampers Commercial. I know I know, but it was all these baby animals sticking close to their moms and "Forever Young" song playing. That made me cry! Even CIBC (bank) commercial has made me cry!

So was your loser / embarrassing moment?

The test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions. Some well-meaning but misguided people think evolution is a reasonable theory to explain man’s questions about the universe. Evolution is not a good theory—it is just a pagan religion masquerading as science.

1. Where did the space for the universe come from?

2. Where did matter come from?

3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)?

4. How did matter get so perfectly organized?

5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing?

6. When, where, why, and how did life come from dead matter?

7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself?

8. With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce?

9. Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain this?)

10. How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.)

11. Is it possible that similarities in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor?

12. Natural selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occurred if evolution were true?

13. When, where, why, and how did: a) Single-celled plants become multicelled? (Where are the two- and threecelled intermediates?) b) Single-celled animals evolve? c) Fish change to amphibians? d) Amphibians change to reptiles? e) Reptiles change to birds? (The lungs, bones, eyes, reproductive organs, heart, method of locomotion, body covering, etc., are all very different!) How did the intermediate forms live?

14. When, where, why, how, and from what did: a) Whales evolve? b) Sea horses evolve? c) Bats evolve? d) Eyes evolve? e) Ears evolve? f) Hair, skin, feathers, scales, nails, claws, etc., evolve?

15. Which evolved first (how, and how long, did it work without the others)? a) The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the body’s resistance to its own digestive juice (stomach, intestines, etc.)? b) The drive to reproduce or the ability to reproduce? c) The lungs, the mucus lining to protect them, the throat, or the perfect mixture of gases to be breathed into the lungs? d) DNA or RNA to carry the DNA message to cell parts? e) The termite or the flagella in its intestines that actually digest the cellulose? f) The plants or the insects that live on and pollinate the plants? g) The bones, ligaments, tendons, blood supply, or muscles to move the bones? h) The nervous system, repair system, or hormone system? i) The immune system or the need for it?

I am 32. I have been to church all my life but my family did it out of more how it looked to the community. I have lost a lot since becoming an adult. I was married when i was 18, but that ended in divorce due to severe verbal and physical abuse. I left after 9 years of it. I took with me my beautiful daughter. I am remarried now to a wonderful man. He said that he was a devout Christian when we first met. He has not been to church or opened a bible in the 3 years we have been together. I am so wanting God in my life but have no way to get to a church. I was told that i did not have to go to church to have God in my life. My husband says that i am way beyond help of God. I have 3 tattoos, am a recovering alcoholic. I so want to study the word of God and have him in my life. Is there anyone out there that can help put me on the right path?

Hey, I'm going to belgium next week and someone that, admittedly I don't completely trust, has told me that there is a religious symbols ban in in Belgium, which means that you can't wear a hijab or burka, or jilbab, or whatever you know it by. I was wondering if this is true? She said that if you wear a burka there, then you could get arrested, which sounds a bit extreme to me... I thought it was just in schools you couldn't have religious symbols.

I still believe in God but I can see now that the bible is just a bunch of stories and misunderstandings.

There are many things in the bible which I believe may have seen as Godly events and happenings but which in todays world can easily be explained and understood.

If tomorow it started to rain for 40 days and 40 nights and a large area of land happened to flood would you balme it on god getting revenge on the people of earth or would you look on the weather and see that the current conditions in the atmosphere were causing the rain to fall?

If a woman said she was pregnant but never had sex would you think she was having the son of god or do you think she had been sleeping with someone else behind her husbands back?

I don't know why I get upset if someone beeps at me or is rude to me in any way when I am driving. I am just getting used to driving in the US (from England) and I don't make any mistakes but it is sometimes confusing when there are different rules over here. Sometimes I slow down to read street names if I don't know where I am going, why's that such a big deal? especially in LA the drivers are so rude! Why are people nice in person (most of the time) but angry loathing monsters once they get behind the wheel. Does anyone else get upset about this?

I couldn't sleep last night, and early in the mornings...around 3 a.m. or so, is when most of the Evangelists come on t.v. I was flipping through the channels, and looked at about three or four different shows, and noticed things that just didn't seem right. Two of the Evangelists wanted people to call in and buy their books on how to be successful and receive wealth and prosperity "through God." Others wanted people to call in, and purchase their DVD's, tapes, etc. But, what REALLY got me was one Evangelist, who actually wanted people to place orders, and pay money to buy towels, or scarves (can't remember what), that had been dipped in "holy water." Why on earth do they want people to pay for a towel dipped in holy water? I know that they might need money to keep their show on the air, or something of that nature, but that seemed a bit ridiculous. Have any of you seen this? I am not trying to judge, but are many of these people fakes???

this happend to me 3 nights ago, me and my friend were out driving around acting dumb at about 1:30am and were driving through the woods...(now 2am)and we come to this place that says United Prollsion center [camra servailence] and there these big long metal thing down there that look like missle cilows so were like O.o so we continue to drive...(now 2:30am) we countiune to drive and we can no longer see the sky its coverved by trees, we come up to this metal fence and its been thrashed bits fo metal lying everywere on the ground so i dont know what sparked us to drive further, but we come 2 a seconde fence that been thrashed and theres a sign on the ground, i got out of the car to go see what it said...the sign read [Bio Genetics Testing labs]...i dropped the sign ran back to the car and we drove off going 80 mph....what do you think it was?

Thist statement was made by another Y!A user. If this were the truth, why did God make a varying sets of rules for different religions? And each one states his is the true one. Is there some miscommunication going on or what?
