I recently viewed a "roast" on television. The spcial guest was William Shatnar, and the topic was his "coming out of the closet." Usually on a tv show like this, the topic is based on a truth.

I don't think that the show was about truth as it was about 'spoofing'. Mr. Shatner has engaged in many of these gags in the last few years. He has done fun commercials and even spoofed himself for TV Land.
The man has been extremely successful on TV and may I add has made a fortune. He is no longer the young handsome (yet very stiff Shakespearean actor from Canada) Captain Kirk and he is having a good time. You just have to look to the strange and bizarre character lawyer he plays on Boston Public. It takes a very comfortable actor at this stage of his or her career to take such risks. He has nothing to lose.

No, it's a roast where anything goes. George Takai is the homosexual, but if you "believed" everything you heard there, you would think they were all a bunch of sick, twisted perverts.
