They leave the faith but are not willing to leave the faith alone.

Just because you don't believe in god, doesn't mean that religion doesn't affect your life. Many laws and government decission are based or influenced by the church. That makes religion MY business too. Not least because my culture is a christian one.
Not only that but I always find that knowing how various religions think or feel about certain issues which are quite predominent in this day and age helps in eleviating concerns and raising questions about political and social issues. Always an advatage to know what you are talking about really rather than sticking your head in the sand and arrogantly ignoring the existance of other faiths, don't you think?
I also find healthy debate a sign of intelligence, and advocate questioning my own beleifs regularly. After all, nobody 'knows' what the truth is really.

I'm an atheist (who never goes "to the Religion and Spirituality section just to complain"), but I can understand other atheists' point of view. Everyday, on TV, in the paper, we are forced to hear and read about religion(s) and there's no place for us to express our sentiments about it. What's the last time you heard about what WE think ? A lot of room is given to Catholics, Muslims, Jews. What do we get ? Nothing !

Maybe they're trying to save you from your divisive, hate filled, religious teachings of your power hungry, lying, hypocritical masters so that you can finally find what it's like to have a free thought of your own that isn't dictated to you like Sheeple.
Or maybe they just want to annoy those who clearly possess neither the temperament, nor the rational thinking abilities required to deal with either debate or dissent.
Or maybe they are lashing out at the hypocritical holier than thou people who are trying to take over our society, knowing that those people could be our eventual downfall, just look at what one of your kooks did with only 6 years in the White House.
Or maybe they're just bored and figured why not mess with the mental midgets for a little light entertainment. Just a thought, have a great day.
And I'm sorry you have to listen to all the thoughts that don't coincide with your belief,I did after all forget the most basic truth, that the greatest enemy of faith is knowledge. With that in mind I can see why you would be bothered by an open forum.

Why do some religious people REGULARLY come to the Religion and Spirituality section just to complain about atheists? If you don't want to hear different points of view, either don't go onto Yahoo questions or move to North Korea.

I think it is not a bad thing for Atheists to use this section as secretly they may genuinely be searching for God,if not I don`t mind a little challenge to my faith.
the sad thing is those who troll for no other reason than to spew venom and who really have nothing to say in the way of sensibility, if only they had the maturity to see the futility of their silly actions.

Uh, guess what - I DIDN'T go into the religious section. But your question shows up in the Open Question section. If you don't want us atheists answering it, why did you post it here???
(Yes, I know, all questions show up here. I'm using the asker's faulty logic to make my point)

Its called debate. Asking questions about your beliefs and answering questions should only make your faith stronger if it really is the true faith. What are you afraid of? That someone will make a good point and you won't know how to answer it? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Its great if you have a faith and it helps you and makes you happy. Not everyone is going to agree with you. Just live how you feel is best.

grow up and learn to debate. I do not complain on here - it seem that YOU are the one that doesn't like US being here. Free world, learn to live with it!
