Do you think morality can exist outside of what men have penned. Is morality something that man explores and discovers but does not create. Like 2+2=4 is morality a constant among all peoples?

Or Is morality only true to your own person? Is what is true for you independant of what is true to someone else?

Or is it something else? To say something isn't just what you believe, it's scriptural is kind of silly isn't it?

Okay. It's 2006 and I'd like to believe were all educated. We all know that Jesus was from a region of the earth were the people are born with dark skin and all that. So why, all these years later are there still pictures of this white Jesus with blond hair in circulation, hangin on walls an in Churches and stuff. Knowing what we know isn't that kinda like sacreligious. Do you have one of pictures?

I am a lifelong closeted cd/tv/tg. I began dressing at age 5 but having learned it is "wrong" ive suppressed, gone through the purge cycle,in general have had a negative self view and now that Im getting older, the feeling that I should be a woman is becoming unbearable. I can clearly envision having a female body as well as using it :). I am only seeking answers from others with experience.

The question is, how did you Know for sure that beginning Hormones was right for you?

Hi, I hope I don't offend anyone with this. I really am just very curious! I do not like the smell of my private area, even when it's perfectly clean I still can detect a sort of "frangrance". it doesn't seem to bother men, so I was wondering if lesbians like or don't like this smell?

This question is dedicated to all those (mostly christian, but occasionally others as well) who have asked me if I'm a "believer or non-believer" and then proceeded to offer me their "proof".

So, now that I'm a roostarian (J4R) and know the TRUTH about the MESSIAH and Biblical Prophecies, I ask: Are YOU a Believer?

Say Homosexual marriage. If they aren't asking you to participate, isn't it immoral to force your beliefs on them through the use of legislation?

The view from the sunny window,
From a childs imaginitve mind.
Is a warm place full of freindleness,
Where people seem so kind.

They cannot see the dangers,
That lurk beyond their gaze,
Of the slow ruin of the earth,
By the suns destructive rays.

They can not see pollution,
Or rain forests gettin fewer,
Or household waste disappearing,
Down every murky sewer.

They do not know the perils
of a threatning nuclear war,
Or of the posionous gases
That pollute our earth for sure.

They have not witnessed poverty,
Or children living on the edge
Where begging is a necessity
So their not part of the dredge.

What they see is beauty,
Where wonderful things come true,
Where pixies chase each other,
And flowers dance on cue.

I guess its best if they keep this dream
It wont be long before they know the truth
The window will be a faded fantasy,
And the destruction will be the proof!!

Thanks x

Christianity and Islam have no 100% proof so why should it be bad to doubt that they might be mythological?

I'm just wondering if there are any. I posted a question that referenced why people are against the death penalty and have read many other Q/A regarding the matter.
It seems as though the only main reason people give for being anti-death penalty is because they believe that it is God's place to judge and not man's. Or they cite a general religious belief against it.
Others only state everyone has a right to life in a single sentence answer, but do not give any specific reasons for this belief.
I am just curious about any reasons other than these that people have for being against it.
So anybody who is against it for reasons other than 'It is God's place to decide', would you mind explaining to me what your reasons are for being anti-death?
If there are any atheists/agnostics who are against it, what are your reasons? Please give more detail than 'everyone has a right to life'.

I am an agnostic myself am very much for the death penalty.
And I'm only asking out of curiosity.

to give answers when asked and what they do with it is up to them not me. I do not feel an urgent need to save them. Mainly because I know I can't and I know they must choose on their own. Is this a wrong attitude?

Prophets state that the Messiah is when the Line Of David (Joseph's bloodline) meets the high priests line (I forget the name but its Marys bloodline). Now if Jesus was born unto a virgin, this means the two bloodlines had not met, so Jesus' brother, James, is the meeting of the two bloodlines. So is James not the Messiah? Just a thought!
