No, not at all---in fact Christians today must remain neutral and not get involved with politics in any way, shape or form. We must not put our trust in human rulers.(Psalms 146:3)
If we vote for any imperfect human, then we are showing disloyalty to our King, who now reigns in heaven. Our allegiance is to our righteous King, and his Father's heavenly government only. The Bible says that man was not meant to rule over man. ( Ecclesiastes 8:9 )
We must obey the laws of governments as long as they do not conflict with God's laws. We maintain the same position as Jesus' apostles: "But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)
Human governments will soon be put out of existance and will be replaced by God's government which will rule over the entire earth. When you say the Lord's prayer and ask for God's Kingdom to come, that is what you are praying for.
The new government will last forever as seen at Daniel 2:44--"
"And in the days of these kings(current human rulers) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever."
Christians should not put their trust or confidence in political governments or rulers that God will soon overthrow. We need to look to God's Kingdom as the only hope for all mankind.

Unfortunately I'm not so expert and I don't know what the Bible says about election. I live in Italy and I remember my grandmother that, even when was really old, must go and vote for the election. She told me about the period when she was younger and she couldn't vote because the law didn't admit women to the election or vote.
Probably there isn't anything against God but, in my opinion, you have to consider the vote as an opportunity that is not allowed all over the word. (My English is not so good so tell me if you don't understand something and I will try to explain it better)

In Paul's letter to the Romans, he only suggested that people should submit themselves to the authorities and respect the law of the land. Voting is a right of every citizen to choose their candidate. Not voting is also a choice of your right if you do not see any of the candidates fitted to the ideals that you want to see in an elected official.
It will not in any way go against God but you just have to deal with any law of the land that an elected official will put in to your table whether you like it or not. Voting for someone may give you a chance to put the official you wanted in your favor than not voting at all.

I believe this is not a salvation issue at all, but I do think all should vote. We are to follow our govt unless they go against scripture. So, each must deceide this themselves. I stuggles on this for years. becuase I think we should all vote.
Yet, at the same time, I do not always vote. What if you dont agree with either point of view? Then, you vote just cuz one is a little better? No, you still helped put osmeone in office that you didnt care for. Or on issues. What if you are pro life, and a bill comes up and its more along what you believe, but they add someone on thats not biblical. do you for for it just because the other is anti prolife? they are making these things less clear nowadays, so half the time ppl dont know for sure if they voted for or against something. Look at some of the wording. Gets a bit tricky at times.
What if there is a candidate that is pro life, such as me, and passionate about it, like me. Yet, you find out this man is also for something that you know is very wrong.?? Why would you put him in office? Its like often, we are voting thelesser of the two evils. This isnt an accidnet.
So, I feel to vote or not vote is a private issue, and noones business. I also hear ppl say if you dont vote, you have no right to complain. Hogwash. If we live in america, and disagree with how its done, we are free to speak like anyone else, whether we vote or not. And, if you put people in that are clear about what they stand for,you would always know who to vote for. They usually say one thing, and get in and do the opposite. Many of us are tired of this whole process, and many have stopped voting. I believe we should vote, but we didnt make the process work like it is. Those who voted in every Tom, Dick and Harry, and even Jane now, that have no godly principles, have made the system work like it is now. and frequently, you dont want either side in office. Christians need to get back into govt and hold on to their positions like they used to. But, this is a godless society today in whcih we live, and that is not popular thinking, and usually gets few votes.
Again, its personal choice, according to what one believes. There are also those, NOT ME, that dont believe in any participation in govt. I dont agree, but thats their belief. We cannot judge them.
Let God be our guide and we wont go wrong. Great question...

It says nothing about voting - I do not believe it would be against God - but we all must live with the decision that is made - your vote can help support God's will.

Jesus said, "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. " Serve your country as is proper but serve God. Be noble in all areas. It is not improper to vote, pay taxes, etc.
