interesting that Haggard admits in his statement to immoral behavior but also says not all the accusations against him are true. The church says he's guilty of "sexual immorality" - so, we can suppose the trysts with the manwhore did take place. So, what's left not to be true? Was he right that he didn't actually USE the meth or is it just one more lie from a man who claims to be repenting as we speak and asks for our forgiveness??

I mean, it's not biblical. You criticize Catholics for believing in things "not biblical." If you believe in sola scriptura, please show me where in scripture it tells us that we need scripture alone. I believe that scripture is inspired by God and should be revered, but I do not think it is all we need.

Because, according to Isaiah 9:6-7, he has:

Isa 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

It says "from this time forth and forever more" And from the context, we understand that "this time" refers to the birth of Jesus...but so many christians today believe that Jesus will establish his kingdom in the future.

Please give me some feedback.

I kinda hate to ask this question, but here I go....

I was looking at footage of some of the other members/leaders of that church. I know I'm going to get raked over the coals for saying this, but a lot of them "look gay." Maybe I'm just stereotyping and there's no such thing as "looking gay." But well, they look and act somewhat effeminate. In particular, I'm thinking of this guy Ross Parsley that is actually taking over temporarily for Ted Haggard.

The Church of Christ uses Matthew 16:16 when a person gets baptized to confess that he or she wants to become a Christian, and yet they don't believe in the Sinner's Prayer. What is the difference?

Take for example the flood. Okay, let us assume that Noah DID do everything on the bible. Lets assume that animals did get saved thanks to Noah. Now why is it that we can't find a single fossil outside of Australia where marsupials are? Ah, I know you'll say that probably because the boat landed there, but there are other species of animals (fossils) that are NOT found in Australia but in other parts.

So why is it that the Christian fossil record is so broken and incomplete?
