I've died, twice, on the operating table. I had no physical feeling. To me, it was a very deep sleep, without dreaming.

Sure, I think everyone does once they realize they're going to have to face the grim reaper one day. I figure the act of dying is probably a lot like going to sleep. But after that, does some sentient part REALLY go on or are you essentially in the same state that you were in before you were born - simply non-existent (except for your body).

I believe that fear of death is the main reason we have religions that insist on a belief in the supernatural. Organized religion is like the ultimate drug to help people avoid facing the reality that not one person living really knows what happens when we die, but in all likelihood, when you die, you no longer exist as a being. That's hard to face.

Better to pretend we know we go on and build up a fantasy about it and get other people to believe it too because the more people that believe something, the easier it is to believe it yourself. Even if it isn't true.

Every time I have a seizure I feel like I'm dying. It's hard to explain. I start feeling nauseous and everything starts spinning and then I just lose control of myself. I don't know if I'm right but it just seems like it for some reason.

Yes, but I don't like to because I want to have a family when I am older so think about happy things instead and one more thing......... If that doesn't help.......... and you haven't done this yet........ Accept Jesus into your heart and He will protect you........ so you won't be afraid of dying because when you die, you will be surrounded by a sinless world.
