are there any people out there that believe in life after death

Or makes most happy, gives you overwhelming feelings, etc. And if you don't believe in any religion, what quote or saying that affects you the most? And mention your religious belief please.

I'm a Muslim and I have many Qura'nic verses that touch me, but I use some verses in my life, and I believe they gave me strength to go through many of my difficulties.

"O Lord! Comfort my chest (heart)"

“And ease things for me"
"And untie the knot of my tongue so they can understand me"

And also:
Luqman -31:22

"And whosoever submits his face to God, while he is a good-doer, then he has gasped the trustworthy handhold. And to God return all matters for decision".

And I love this description:
An-Nur (The Light) 24:35
"God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His light is a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east, nor of the west, whose oil will glow so forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon light! God guides to His light whoever He wills. And God sets forth parables for the mankind, and God is The All-Knower of everything”.

When shopping at Sainsburry's or at other supermarkets,
do you usually ask the cashier to pack what you bought in bags, or do you do so yourself?
Is it expected to give the cashier a "tip" for packing help,
or is it part of their job?

Thanks

What do you reckon? Jesus hung out with prostitutes, beggars, tax collectors and even priests, but how would he relate to a terrorist?

What should you do if your flat's neighbour plays loud music? I have tried to ask him to turn it down, and he obliged. But next time, he does the same thing again. I'm thinking of reporting to the council, but I'm afraid if this neighbour finds out, he can make my life hell.

Or are they simply charlatans who use the name of God to make money for themselves?

They stand there and cheerily say hello - i dont know this person - i always assume they are talking to someone behind me so i end up giving a rather embarassed grunt back at them.

my friend is very posessive of me when we go out.
she is straight and i am bi (only out to a few people, not her). the problem is, when i stay at hers or she stays at mine, we share a bed and she's always coming on to me. she keeps saying in one breath that she'd never sleep with another woman, then says it's on her list of things to do before she dies.

i'm so confused we're both in our 30's and have been friends for 20 years. i've asked her before if she fancies me or if she has lesbian feelings and she denies it.
help me sort this out because it is putting a strain on our friendship as i have stopped going to see her.

my question is: can faculty and staff have prayer in the school when the children are not there? at my school, during pre-planning, our principal led prayer for the faculty. They also had a religious song that was sung by a singer. the kids were not there that day. is this ok?
