Honestly! Don't you think that the main reason why there are now more behavior problems in schools is because the kids either aren't being disciplined effectively at home or that they are hanging out with the wrong crowd? Isn't it a bit simplistic to think that school prayer would cure all societal ills? After all, how many religious hypocrites have you seen attending worship services? Religion is NOT a panacea!

Are there any Christians (particularly Baptist) out there who have ever been saved by Jesus Christ and experienced all He had to offer and then changed your mind and decided it wasn't what you wanted?
I don't mean you just went to church I mean you truly believed and got saved.

wouldn't allowing him to use "retard" be descrimination ? and considered a slur?I'm not offended by much and am a firm believer in live and let live.thru out my life i have worked with the mentally diabled and brain damaged population and allowing this gentleman freedom of speech is just wrong!!it is not a freedom he should be allowed to abuse at the expense of others.perhaps this is just another one of those web sites for victimizers

Scientifically speaking -- oops, I may not be qualifed as a scientist though -- the Universe emerged from nothing. And then, it will eventually be destroyed completely into nothing. I feel as if I were in a hotel room with somebody else in the other room playing with the light switch to turn the light in my room on and of.
How about you?

have you ever thought obout starting a mirror book?
it's a book where you record your religious jorney, you put down the prayers you make and how you set up your altar what you are doing to become one of gods chosen to become a priest/ess to teach others, what you do on your travels ect. ect.

i'm starting one because it will be like a gospel :) not as important, but it is like one, it is my book in the bible, a record of my walk with god.

After all, the Book of Genesis states more or less that God has made people the custodians of the earth. Custodianship implies that it's our job to take care of it. However, there are some Christians who either believe that global warming isn't real or that it isn't important since the End Times are coming, anyway.

I come from a small town in Northern Italy, where everybody is friendly and laid back. Living in NYC is a shocker to me! I have encountered the rudest people ever. I am extremeley polite and friendly and have been "slapped in the face" in numerous occasions. I also would like to mention that I have lived and traveled allover the world. Milan, Munich, Zuerich, Hamburg, Vienna Cape town and Paris. People in Paris are not very friendly either, but in a different way than New Yorkers. Have any of you had bad experiences in NYC?

Would love to hear other people's experiences or how it made them feel.

I grew up in an environment where all the women only had children and all the men worked in skilled trades. I feel like I'm sometimes venturing into unknown territory with no one to ask for directions.
