I don't think the world would be a better place without religion.

But the world is about to find out what it's like without Christians.

Maranatha!

What makes you think that there would be no morals if there wasn't religion? You are admitting there that religion has nothing more then a Fear based following. People only believe because they are afraid? people don't kill because they are afraid of the consequences? You seem to forget that in religion you can do the worst things possible as long as you ask for forgiveness. When it comes to no religion I think people would start respecting life alot more instead of disrespecting it with the idea that you can still get to heaven even if ur a bad person. I think we would develop "common Sense morals"

Religion is a way of controlling people. I know plenty of Athiests who have good morals and ethics. If there weren't religion we might have a different set of laws, but I don't think the world would be too different. It might even be better since there would be no religious differences to fight over.

Religion isn't necessarily the cause of the wars, it is the use of religion as an excuse to start a war which is the problem. A belief in a Power Greater Than Oneself has made millions of lives better. God loves us all. It is just that some THINK He loves them more.

I think it would....and just b/c religion wouldn't be in place doesn't mean morality would go down the drain. Religion was a way to control the masses and set society rules. Those rules alrdy in place...so why do we need religion.

Religion does not have a monopoly on morality. Only a weak person needs someone in the sky to tell them what's right.

if there is no religion, it means we will be like animal
no morals means no limitation so people will do what ever they want like the brother may rape his sister or mother the father may fall in love with his daughter, so the world will be so wild and hard, people will be just like animal.

No, I don't, because the wars you speak of as being started is only one religion, not all of them. There are many religions that don't start wars. Religon has many good points, we should focus on those, not the bad things have happened in the name of "religion".
