I am transgendered person. ever since i was in primary, Secondary school people mock me that I look like a woman, I changed my organs and appearence now I look just like a woman. but know I am blemming myselve for doing it. I want to go back to me.

Despite what you may think about the JW NWT, the fact is that most of their members know the Bible as a whole. They read it, and the KJV, repeatedly, from childhood on up. By the time they reach the age where they begin developing conceptual thought process, JW children have a basic knowledge of the context of the Bible and can answer questions such as what is the first prophecy of the Bible?

Tonight I dropped off students at a theology school where they receive an education for a "career" as ministers and preachers. Of the five, none could quickly name the first prophecy. Secondly, when asked what day for they observe the Memorial on, they all said a day in May, rather than the Memorial of the Last Supper.

So, how can JWs teach the Bible, even the KJV, far better than any other religions, and even many Bible schools and colleges? If all the other religions are correct, and have the Blessings of the Holy Spirit, shouldn't every member have a complete knowledge of the Bible?

I have a friend that is Catholic and she can't seem to explain to me why Catholics ask or pray to the Virgin Mary to get in touch with God. In John 14:6 Jesus clearly states, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

So, why would you go to Mary when you could just Pray to Jesus himself. Does your blessing come from Mary or Jesus?

It's like they are giving Mary mother of Jesus Power over him. God has all power.

Can someone please expound on this (With a Mature response please)

God says "Steve you've been a decent bloke, did nice things and made everybody feel welcome, you can have something in heaven that you treasure from Earth. Whatever it is I'll get it up for you".

Steve leans over and whispers in Gods ear.......

You are a member of a minority group and you look for a better paid job. Someone from the majoritary group sends you a job offer that targets specifically people from you minority group (they want to hire someone from that group to work with problems occuring in that particular group). Would you feel that the person that sends you the job offer reduces you to you minority group identity and feel offended by this?

You know how you always hear that when parents don't allow their kids to do anything growing up (usually girls) that when they do get old enough they completely rebel? This usually is a stereotype about cathoic girls. Well my parents were extremely strict with me growing up and I didn't have alot of interaction with my peers bc I was never allowed to do anything and when I turned 17 I started sneaking out of the house to meet this 22 yr. old guy for sex. All during my early 20's I experiemented with drugs and promiscuity. Is that really common for people who were raised in abnormally strict households?
