Hey there, seems so many people in the media are slightly more effeminate, fun, ect. Seems it is cool to be Bi. I haven’t worded this well, just wanted to know what you thought.

Its not "Cool" to have any sexual preference - sex is a personal experience and weather you prefer it with men, women or both is not of concern and is only cool if its what floats your boat!!

I wouldn't use the word 'cool'. It makes it sound like you are being suckered into all their material wants.
If you are bi-sexual then thats really an issue for you and no-one else and others shouldn't really judge you for it. Variety is the spice of life, and how much variety depends on you as a person after all you are an individual.
It sounds bad for me to judge, but being 'bi' because its the new fashion or because your buddies are doing it just seems wrong, its all about personal taste.

It does seem that nowadays a lot of people are claiming to be bisexual but it really isn't a fad. It's a way of life. I think a lot of people who claim to be bisexual only do so because it's the "in" thing to do. That's just stupid. However it's possible that people are just beginning to understand that it's really ok to like members of the opposite sex. And if that makes people more open to accepting homosexuality then hey it's a good thing. Besides, it also means more people are discovering their own sexuality rather than just accepting how they "should" be. So if it's a media fad then I think it's a good one. As long as everyone stays safe.

It irritates me that being bi is a trend. I presonally don't see any limits to who I can love (great now I sound like a hippie right?) So if I fall in love iwth a guy OK fine if I fall in love iwth a girl ok that's cool too. It isn't because that's what the fake lesbian pop singers do on TV, or because the anorexic chicks on The OC do it. I am just myself and that's it.
Don't do anything because it's cool. That's just lame and you look like a dumbass in the long run.

Well I'm bi and I'm cool. But that isn't what you asked, I guess. Yes, it's currently trendy to be bisexual. I think we've yet to see if this will be good for the bisexual community or bad for it. I'm all for people discovering themselves and being open about it, though.
