How can people believe in Jesus if we never seen him? If you never seen this man how do you know he is real? Just cause a book was written by men dont mean u suppose to believe it. Someone explain simply form this to me

When i saw Tipping the velvet a few years ago i was quite young (14 / 15) and only happened to catch a few moments of it, and after that i didnt think much of it.

When i got married a few months ago (my culture believes in no sex before marriage) and after i got familiar with my husband (if you know what i mean!) i told him about tipping the velvet. He hadnt seen it before but the next day he came back with it on DVD!!

We watched it together and it was a real turn on!! and now we can't stop from watching it, it's our favourite DVD!!

The only thing is, is it wrong for me to get turned on by lesbians, does it make me a lesbian or bi?

By the way, my husband doesn't have any problem with it. We have even started watching soft lesbian porn which also does the trick too!!

Matthew 19:12: For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Ok, so there is plenty of evidence that not all Eunuchs at the time were castrated - some eunuchs had children, and some were intact. Some people think that gay men would have been termed eunuchs.

What do you make of this passage?

Does anyone think they might become a eunuch "for the glory of God"?

I know its been done before but do you follow the logic of the following argument?

You are all atheists when it come to all the other 100's of religions in the world, you do not believe their holy books are the innerant word of god, you think their rituals serve no purpose, and that they are in fact a source of evil in the world because they are not the true way to live.

Can you not see we agree with you and just go one step further and include your particular religion, quoting from the bible/Koran doesn't help because all believers reference their holy book, can you not see that you are just doing the same?

It's not like they can eat the candy or even know what they are doing. The parents are going to be the ones eating the candy. Sometimes I see an adult holding a baby that looks about 6 months old and they are holding out a little ziplock bag for the baby and I think how stupid! Anybody younger than 3 years old does not need to be out trick or treating.

they take this one "Me and God are one". which can have alot of explanation. such as Jesus can't speak by himself, but from God who tell him what to do, it's not necessary mean that Jesus is God. remember the Bible has been translated and it's not accurate.

but you never take these verses too literal?

I mean, what is the point of an afterlife? We live so that life is better for those that follow. If not for the person who harnessed fire, the person who developed the wheel, Edison, Bell, Einstein, etc. we would not have the easy lives we have now. That is the meaning of life.
