I know its been done before but do you follow the logic of the following argument?

You are all atheists when it come to all the other 100's of religions in the world, you do not believe their holy books are the innerant word of god, you think their rituals serve no purpose, and that they are in fact a source of evil in the world because they are not the true way to live.

Can you not see we agree with you and just go one step further and include your particular religion, quoting from the bible/Koran doesn't help because all believers reference their holy book, can you not see that you are just doing the same?

I know quite a lot about religion and religious people thank you. Either you have to pray 5 times a day or you do not, either you have to be baptised or you do not, these are absolutes of faith no matter what one particular Pope might say.

Not really, hon. I don't "not believe" in other gods. I do think allah as well as the other gods exist. I believe the rituals are going forward to some god. However I believe that there is no god greater than God, and the gods (IMO) are cast out angels (satan and the third of the angels that rebelled that set forth to deceive the world) see, satan will either keep you from God with disbelief or wrong belief.

Your question leads me to suspect you may know a lot less about religious people than you believe yourself to.

"Likewise, other religions found everywhere try to counter the restlessness of the human heart, each in its own manner, by proposing "ways," comprising teachings, rules of life, and sacred rites. The Catholic Church rejects nothing that is true and holy in these religions. She regards with sincere reverence those ways of conduct and of life, those precepts and teachings which, though differing in many aspects from the ones she holds and sets forth, nonetheless often reflect a ray of that Truth which enlightens all men."

I must disagree with your arguement, based on the definition of "atheist". An Atheist is a person who says "no gods exist", not "only this god is God". Atheism is not subject to relativism. There is either NO GODS, or there is at least one. If a person believes in at least one god, they cannot be called an atheist even in a relative sense.

This arguement was used in the second century Roman Empire against people who would not sacrifice to the "recognized" deities, usually Christians and Jews, as a point of persecution. If they weren't "loyal" to the recognized religion of the state, they were tried as atheists, and executed as "enemies of the state". Read the story of the execution of Polycarp as an example of this.

On the basis of the definitions of theism and atheism, your arguement fails. Neither term is subect to relativism, even in usage.

What do I have with other religions if they respect me?
I don't offend Budhists or Hindus or any other religion but my problem is with people who bash my religion and unfortunately most of them are Christians who are supposed to worship the same God like us.. I don't generalize all Christians either but some of them are really annoying.

Well, it can't be the same logic.

I believe that Allah exists, because there are things proofing this. To believe that there is no god is not logical at all. Why are you here? for what reason? Almost all animals have the same composition when it comes to their bodies. Cells, blood, heart .... doesn't this tell you that they are made in the same factory? ( created by one god)

If you believe god doesn't exist, think again. There are so many signs, just look around you.

You got it wrong there brother. The diference with believers and athiest is believers believe something and athiest believe nothing. Athiest may say they believe in science but in fact they don't. Tell me 1 thing they believe in. Whatever that they believe will still create ques for them to ans.

Main Entry: athe·ist
Pronunciation: 'A-thE-ist
Function: noun
: one who believes that there is no deity
- athe·is·tic /"A-thE-'is-tik/ or athe·is·ti·cal /"A-thE-'is-ti-k&l/ adjective
- athe·is·ti·cal·ly /-ti-k(&-)lE/ adverb

Ergo, since we believe in a God (or Allah, or Jehova or Yehweh or what have you) we cannot be classifed as Atheist. A true atheist believes in no God, not in one and not another.

That's because they have blinders on. They can't see that the same arguments they use to disprove other gods can be used on them, too. There's as much evidence of God existing as Zeus or Woton or Baal existing, i.e. zero.
