Four hearts are recorded in the Scriptures, two categories of people and other various distinctions are made but there are no such three groups.

Paul spoke about some who had become vain in their imaginations and taught that such should be brought into captivity to Christ.

Peter cited his beloved brother Paul that he wrote with wisdom and that some could not understand and would wrest the Scriptures.

Where on earth did you imagine these three groups from?

Group 2 - Ready to serve God

Hi, Peter was a headstrong and stubborn, like all of us he was blind to self pride and I guess you could say that in this respect he was not ready to serve God, however something happened that dramatcally changed him, he denied 3 times knowing Jesus, when he realized that in this he was denying the truth, he was deeply ashamed and his pride gave way to humility, and if you compare the humble Peter to what he was,(even giving his life for his Saviour), then without a doubt you have to say that he was now ready and able to serve God in in a genuine way.

Group 2. But he started off wanting to do so very much on his own terms and it was only after denying Jesus and having an opportunity after the resurrection to be converted, that is, to turn his life round (John 21: 15-19), that he became the dedicated leader whom we see in the Acts of the Apostles and, indeed, in his own two epistles.

Group 2: Peter did not FEEL that he was ready, but Christ had complete confidence in him and he eventually became one of the greatest apostles of all time.

John 21:15 Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs.
16 He said to him the second time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My sheep.
17 He said to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved because He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You know all things, You know that I love You. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep.
