my teacher gave us a project over making up a holiday....its due friday and in havent even started cuz i cant think of a day for it...i have come up with some but i dont kno if they are anygood tho.... just throw any ideas out there and they will be appreciated.thanks

What about national nedd a rest day strait and to the point. or chooseyour favorite actor or famous person and choose their birthday.
since august is the only month with out a holiday what about dog days. Like the dog days of summer? one day where you celebrate it on a beach relaxing. or laying in a hamock in the yard, no one can do anything but relax.

I've always wanted to have kind of an "amnesty day" where you're allowed to tell people what you really think about the things they say and do, without consequences. Then the next day, no one would be allowed to be mad about anything that was said while the holiday was in effect.

how about something in august (there are no holidays in August)....like the 9th and have it be KIDS DAY...we have mother's day, father's day, grandparent's day....so why not a KID'S DAY????
i wish we would of had fun projects like that when i was in school!!!!

Well........If you can make up ANY day, you should make up a day that involves something that you are interested in. Your name says pro boarder, so if you like something like wakeboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding, etc..etc....make a day like "National Skateboard Day". And go on about how it would be celebrated.
