I don't see why drinking animal blood would be a sin. If you buy blood from the butcher and want to drink it go ahead. The animal was slaughtered and you are helping to use all parts of the animal for food consumption. God doesn't care what part of the animal you eat...unless you practice eating Kosher.

The Bible says that the life of a creature is in its blood. That's why Jewish dietary laws prohibit blood and meat being eaten together.
But, those dietary laws (The Law of Ordinances) were done away with at the Cross of Jesus, for Christian believers.
I do remember my Irish grandfather's favorite meal though:
