Everything is up to the individual. If you think your life has meaning, then it does. If you believe that life is a useless waste of time, that is your privilege.
In my own personal opinion, life ( all forms of life ) just simply happened, as thought by the evolutionists. Why should it have meaning ? No one can answer that any more than answering why it shouldn't have meaning.
What if it has no meaning ? Meaning to who ? Each person if free to think of his life as he pleases. One will say life has no meaning, another will disagree. Just go ahead doing the best you can. Don't worry about meaning. That question has been asked by the great Greek philosophers before six hundred BC>
They came to no conclusions, I'll come to none, and you'll came to none. so why even think about it ?

Life is but a dream.
It feels really real when you are in it but one day, maybe thousands of lifetimes later, you will awake to find yourself out of it.
Like a dream you can create meaning in your life and create goals to achieve or you can chose to find life meaningless and go kill yourself.
The question isn't whether life has any meaning, the question is what kind of dream do you want to live?

Life has meaning, the problem is, people don't like the meaning and go off in search of a meaning more to their liking.

There doesn't need to be a meaning to life and there probably isnt one. Just because life has no meaning doesn't mean it has no point. Humans try to find a meaning to life to make themselves feel special or to justify their actions, such as religion.

Its only meaningless if you do not accept Jesus as your savior. A life with out Jesus is just existing and waiting to die. A life with Jesus is real living and then moving onto eternal life in heaven. I praise the Lord every day for the free gift of salvation that He gave me!

We can also question, why NOT ?
Why should not there be any meaning to life?
May be we don't know what is the meaning. There is meaning to "Water" quenching our "Thirst", there is meaning to "fire" warming our bodies in cold weather. There is meaning in every part of the nature.
Why should not there be any meaning to those who perceive the nature?
