我只想要 All I Want - 7朵花

People have faith when reasons fail. If there were good reasons for believing in what people put faith in, what would they need faith for? And if faith is enough, then why do people talk sometimes about evidence for beliefs they say they have faith in? Isn't faith the crutch people fall back on when they can't make a good argument?

God created the angels from light (they have no will) they just obey and worship him. than he created the devils from fire(they have a will like human) they can obey and they can desobey.
the bible teach that satan is a fallen angel while it can't be because God the most wise didn't give the angels a will to choose. saying that satan is a fallen angel is saying tha God is imperfct, this is the christian claim.

My boyfriend wants to come over on Sunday to ask for my hand in marriage. I am really excited but at the same time I am not sure how I set the whole thing up. Do I tell my parents why he is coming or do I just suggest that we have a dinner and tell them he is coming. His parents are coming too and my parents have met his mom before but not his dad. Do I tell them who is coming so they know, should I say why his parents are coming? If I don't say and just tell them they are coming, how do I answer their questions as to why they are coming? I guess these things are trivial after Sunday but I just don't know exactly what I am going to do. I just wish my boyfriend would have planned it without including me into the whole thing, but I also love the fact that he is coming to ask for my hand because it would be greatly appreciated (my parents are traditional mexican parents). I guess my big concern is do I clue them in or not?

i have seen many lesbians in the society. for them it may be correct but as far as society is concerned people do not agree to such relations. do you give it another name of lust or do you find it natural to be attracted to same sex?

from my last question somebody said 'wide is the path that leadeth to destruction' and i agree with that Bible verse.

But when you're 'saved' do you change overnight? or how long does it take you to change fully and be permanently on the narrow path? in the Bible it says:

Hebrews 12:7
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?

so we endure and are disciplined while we endure. it could take me like 50 years to break all my habits am i not 'saved' until then? Thank you :o}

I live on the first floor of a two-story apartment complex. The buildings have four units apiece, two above and two below, all four with patios. My neighbor upstairs is a law student and she smokes, I recently found out. She's a nice person for the limited interaction I have with her, but one thing bothers me - when she sits on the patio to read, she coughs... a lot. She's an early riser (well before when I get up) so her coughing echoes into the court space between the apartment buildings and it's loud enough for me to hear and be awakened - and I don't like having my sleep interrupted. Her coughing could be the sign of a serious medical condition but it would be out of place for me to comment on that. How should I handle this? Common sense would suggest I speak kindly with her, but what do I say? Worse, what if she does nothing about it? Or retaliates? I shouldn't have to plug my ears; what if my smoke alarm or phone goes off and I don't hear it? Nor should I have to move.
