2 Muslims I know said that People of the Book with sincere faith will go through a "fire of purification" and can go to Heaven. One also said there are different levels to Hell in Islam and that some people may not suffer in Hell but still be separated from God. Is this so?

Has anyone any experience of marrying a foreign bride? I am a British male living in Northern Ireland, hoping to marry my South African girlfriend in the next year or so. I hope to (eventually) bring her to live here permanently in Britain. What are the main legal considerations, legal delays, etc and also (heaven forbid) what problems arise if after a short period of time the marriage does not work?.. would she get half my assets/etc just like a standard marriage/divorce like here in the UK? I simply don't want to get myself into a minefield of legal problems should things not work out as we expect. Also would it be better/easier getting married there or here, or do we have to marry in both countries? Also any other considerations that I have not mentioned would be very useful to hear. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

in the Book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon has a tone of being pesimistic, in his view of the vanity of life. When he was king and was given wisdom, wealth and power of all the rulers of the land, he sees that the life of the sons of men are subject to futility.
Why is that?

reading that book is really depressing.

Its true, isn't it? If someone posts a question, and a Christian tries to answer, and makes reference to their faith, they get shot down in flames!!

Another example is when someone, who seems interested in the Christian faith, asks a question, and then non-Christians, to whom it is none of their business (that isn't gramatically correct but I didn't know how to say it) answer and condemn Christians, for example, one person said 'Stay away from churches, they're all evil' when the asker had asked what church to go to.

So why is this? I need genuine reasons, and none of that 'they come calling round my house' nonsense.

Oh and by the way, I'm a Christian myself.

I just happen to wonder which public restroom do cross gender use? Ok, there's a GUY who's considered a girl that just started working here, he looks like a girl but u could tell he's a guy, and I tried to see which restroom he goes into but haven't had any luck. There's a gay dude also that uses the guy's restroom, but that's obvious. So, where do he/she and she/he go when they have to go? I will try to ask someone I know but my curiosity just occured here at work. I've recently found out "she" was a guy.

Give as many as you know.

For example: In Revelation: "fire" would come out of their mouth and devour their enemies....

fire could mean----> God's Judgement; a start of a conflict; the Holy Spirit

the tongue also is capable of "fire"...."fire" here being interpreted as slander or gossip

and also God as a consuming Fire.
