HELP ME!
I want to be religous, but my parents are not religous. I want to be catholic, and I read the bible every night. There is a church down the road from my house, but its Presbitarian and well.. I dont even know what it is like. HELP! What should I do. I need as much help as i can get. I am a kid who is christain but doesnt go to church. I want to learn more about god. and learn how i can worship him. i want to go to church for that.there is much more. I think the bible is interesting and i love it. I have gotten in trouble for reading it past my bedtime.
I need help please help me. also how can i present it to my parents?

Ok heres the way i believe the whole story of life first there was nothing then there was something but from nothing came something? If the big bang theory is true what made the things that banged together to make the whole thing happen? Ok now the religous side of it... God? Where did he come from? Heres a question i want everyone to think about. If you were brought up in the jungle with no talk about god and Jesus or anything how would you know about it? YOU WOULDNT!!! Ok now about ghosts and spirits and souls and all that stuff? Check this out In order to see something you have to have molecular structure (Atoms electrons...) So for someone to tell me they saw a ghost is totally UNSCIENTIFICAL!!! Theres no possibility to see a ghost!!! Heres my point!!! the big bang theory needed something to creat the things that "banged" together. If theres a god, what made him? Remember there was nothing... then there was something...then there will be nothing!!! think about it!!! Peace to all !!

I will say that the person Im referring to is a man. It's been almost 8 years so I know he's probably not changing any time soon. It's just a bummer sometimes when he's home from work. He makes the four of us share 1 or 2 drinks on the rare occasion we get to go out to eat, if grandma wants to take the kids out to a movie he tells her they don't need to go anywhere, if we are invited to a birthday party or with another family or out to lunch on a Sunday afternoon, 10 times out of 10 he says we'll skip it. The only way the kids do fun things, it seems, is if I take them while he's at work and doesn't know about it. But then they spill the beans. That's life I guess. Anyone else been there?

Why are ppl so disrespectful when it comes to other religions... You may not agree with what a person believes in but still respect her/him even though you maybe not agree with there belifs

Did you know that religion is the number cause of war?

Just cuz other ppl can't handle the belifs of others

We didn't kill children and women in Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Afghanistan...etc.

And until this moment there's no proof that the 9/11 attacks were committed by Muslim, so don't judge by what you hear and see in the media.

Just remember Abu ghraib jail, Qana holocaust....need I to say more!

In other words, do you worry more about whether YOU are living a good life, or are you obsessed with pointing out the sins of others and judging people?

Don't you think the world would be a better place if people would pay a little more attention to their own actions rather than trying to attack, judge, and marginalize people (e.g., homosexuals, muslims, immigrants, liberals) that they don't approve of?
