I believe when you post a question on Religion & Spirituality , you have to be careful of the content or people may mis-interpret your question and then "bash" you for asking, because in my opinion you should never ask a "silly" or "stupid" question .... (as they would categorise it) in order to learn.

Some people get very angry..... and they are quite offended......and their response can be so insulting, harsh or bitter.... even if you ask a mere question out of curiousity. I thought this segment was for everyone to ask questions to learn more .... They go as far as saying that you are stupid or your questions are silly.... ohhh come on, if you did'nt want to learn or know what a particular thing is you wouldn't have asked would you?????????

I think there are a lot of mean, bitter and angry people out there ...... and there are the nice ones who will e-mail the answers to you.

You asked why atheists and agnostics post hateful things towards Christians. That was a blanket statement, assuming that ALL atheists and ALL agnostics do this, when in fact, only a very few behave in this manner.

You should have used the word *some*, as in some atheists, some agnostics.

Then again, the wording makes it sound as if Christians *never* do this (some do, believe me) and that this is a Christians only forum. It is not, it belongs to us all.

If you meant no offense, that's fine. Everyone makes mistakes.

Dear you on a board that insights hate from most people.
Now in answer to your question they were probably angry because they are seeing a lot of the opposite! It is a wonder people have existed on this earth for so long considering! But, diversity is the spice of life I suppose!

Actually, didnn't you say that Christians are hateful towards non believers? It didn't offend me. I gave the correct answer.

Ask, yes. Make assumptions (about atheists/agnostics and that this is a "Christian" section), no.

from what I see they weren't offended so much as just voicing their view in an angry way. which is why you see so much venom when talking about the subject. something has made them angry about it

You think they were offended?

More irritated than offended. Your question has been asked a gazillion times, and it's also a stupid question.

This isn't a Christian forum. It's a RELIGIOUS and SPIRITUALITY forum. You need not be a Christian to be either.
