Just today I was working in class, and a substitute was in today for that class. We started working, and a group of people was were being quite loud, and I respectfully asked them to be quiet, and a girl was over there and she was like make me. I was like be quiet, afterwards she got really defensive about it, and was like u want me to hit u? One of her friends was like, dont piss her off. And i said, "i like it rough", but not with a sexually explicit or any sexual related tone, and she went directly went to the principal, seconds later. I was like wtf? I have known this girl since Elementary school, she is not a nice person on a regular basis, and so I was called to the office, and me and her and the principal talked. But the thing that pissed me off most was that he didnt listen to my story nearly at all. I was targeted as this predator, and she was fighting extrememly hard to get me suspended.

Now I have read this is considered sexual haressment, but ist it a little extreme?

Or do u prefer gay, lesbian, bi, what offends u as what some consider and outcast?
I don't think homosexuals or any one of that nature is an outcast, they belong just as much as we do. Just an opinion ?

Every single other reference in the Matthew that refers to a "generation" refers to the generation in which matthew was written. For example, Matthew 12:39, where Jesus calls that generation evil, or Matthew 17:17, where Jesus calls that generation "perverse" (there are several others...) So, why is it that we assume the generation he talks about in Matt 24:34 is different then the one he spent the entire gospel of Matthew talking about? Plus, in Matt 24:7, Jesus didn't say there would be MORE wars, famines, and earthquakes, he simply said there WOULD BE those things. So, even if there are increasing numbers today, that doesn't mean anything because Jesus didn't say there would be more of them. So why is it that so many people believe that "this generation" refers to our generation (especially since so many people in the past have predicted when Jesus was going to come, and none of them were right....).

The FSM predates all.
Because his Gospel says so.

I am a stay at home mother and a school teacher by training. I am a hard worker, and I need a retail job for the holiday season. I have never worked in retail before. What advice can you share about applying for this kind of job? Who has the best training? Which stores offer employees the best discounts? What kind of pay can I reasonably expect? I don't even know how much to ask for!

Thanks!

Jen

Everyday I strive to make the world a little better for others. Positive actions can consist of simply saying thank you, to holding the door open for someone, to simply complimenting someone else. However, in my daily life, especially since i'm in highschool, I see more negative actions of insults, lies, anger, and frustration. Everyday I see people clearly in pain who are just passed by. Maybe it's just me, I try to do what I can, but I'm just one person.

I'm sure you get asked this alot, but I haven't seen the answers for myself and therefore wanted to hear the views of others.

If you believe that the bible is the right words and true word of God, then why has it been altered? Why has it not stayed 100% pure? Also, how do you know which bits have been altered by man and which bits were sayings of God? Where's your certainty?

This is to the Christians and it is a genuine questions, thanks.

One of the main difference between afro americans and afro latinos seems to be the way we define our blackness. Though there are many black latinos who we share a bond with, some dont seem to want to claim black roots. They want to claim latino extend which isnt a race. Admixture has a lot to do with our experiences in the Americas. And neither one of our people are 100% black. But how is having spanish & indian blood an excuse for them? Especially with us afro americans though carrying some blood of nonblacks have never negated our claim of blackness. I am the average african american, predominately african decent with a couple additions. My father and his kin are of immediate mixed black and indian blood. Their indian blood comes from the lakota people though many confuse us for cherokee which is annoying to me. They also have Asian blood since their people migrated from there. But I am black and proud, never claiming anything unless asked otherwise. Why dont latinos feel this way?

I just wanted to express my feelings on this thing we call life. It is totally myterious to me and i every day question both sides of the coin. I strongly belive that frrom nothing you cant have something. Thats science!! In a vacuum nothing exsists. thats what this "place" was. then which noone has the answer to came this thing we call the universe. wether it was "god" or other means NOONE I MEAN NOONE WILL HAVE THE ANSWER TO THAT!!! What happens to us when we die is a non proven fact just thoughts. I guess you can say that I wonder why the "human race was made and if nothing ever happened to make all of us then we would never have exsisted!!! Nothing would have exsisted!! No universe no planets no nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me think every day. People that believe in god just sit down and REALLY think about it i know its hard because youve been taught to believe in this thing that noone has ever seen just read about it a book.

The Code predates the OT bible by centuries, and concerns the god Ea, not the Judeo-Christian god.

Looks like marriage has been around a LOT longer than Judaism or Christianity.

Looks like Ea gets credit for creating marriage!
ALL HAIL EA!!!!

it hasn't happened? And THEN the END will come!
Look around you! RECORD highs, RECORD lows, RECORD

But things are the same as they've always been? RIGHT?
FEAR is the ENEMY my friends. But there is nothing to FEAR
but FEAR itself!

Shouldn't Moslems be tolerant and patient with YA users who seem to get their kicks from posting hate questions targeting their religion and prophet instead of responding with anger and insults?
Even in the early the times of Islam there were men who not only slandered and abused the prophet but actively sought to physically eliminate him and they ulimately became fervent defenders of the faith.
