Mark makes reference to it, which is how archaeologists know Mark couldn't possibly have been written any earlier than 70 CE. This is a minimum of 40 years after the events it claims to have been an eye witness to. The other gospels were based on Mark, and were not "independent" records.

Mathew does. The oldest book in the new testament. So why did he wait 37 years to write about all these amazing things Jesus did? Was Jesus real?
