Adultery everywhere, Orphans, Diseases everywhere, bitterness, people steal everything, people kill for food. Chaos just chaos, it would be like leaving elementary kids in a candy store with toys and glass figurines, icecream, puzzles, drum sets, radios, ballons, bikes, and remote controlled cars. It would just be a complete mess!

I could try, but I truly believe it would be worse than the one we live in.
Where was the peace under Joseph Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot or Adolph Hitler? Many dictators have tried to destroy religion. Were their actions or morals superior?
Even if you took away the religions that are here today, you would still be left with the "religion" of science or something else that would come along and replace it. People just naturally seem to choose sides and hate each other. You see it at work, sports, governments, etc....
A world without religion is not the answer.

Honestly, I cannot. Religion is inevitable. Even atheism is a religion when you examine it thoroughly. Even nihilism and absolute skepticism are religions. The american dream is a religion. Counter-culture is a religion. Culture is a religion. A world without religion would be a world without humans or societies as we know them.

Still, the problem was never with religion to begin with, its the extent to which people are fanatically invested in their religions that creates all the problems. While religion gets a bad rep for causing people to believe in something so blindly that it enables them to create a great deal of harm, that problem is not due to the nature of religion itself, its due to the nature of each given believer.

Can I imagine a world with no fanatics? Sure.

I can. Everyone wouldn't be dependent on any religions to answer their questions. They would try to find out answers by themselves.

In the future, it can happen. People are caring more about money and power to care about religion. For example, North Korea now have access to nuclear weapons and it is on the news. Meanwhile, there are extremely few topics relating to religion nowadays.

You will first have to imagine a world with no people. People and religion are inseparable.

I can imagine it, but I wouldn't take away anyone's faith, even if it were possible. I wouldn't want anyone else making decisions for me, so I wouldn't presume to do the same for them.

I can, but as an atheist, the only thing I know for certain is that world would be just as screwed up as this one.

Once upon a time John Lennon wrote a song about that. It would be wonderful!
