I've been out of town for a week and when I returned some packages I've been anticipating arrived while I was gone ...I haven't any proof the neighbors took it . But the company did say they delivered my packages.What should I do? comfront my neighbors? which could get ugly considering they are a large family.Or stop having packages delivered to my house?

The bible teaches that God told Noah to build an ark and take animals 2 by 2 etc etc.
He then sent rains for 40 days and nights and wiped out every other living thing on the planet. That was genocide on a massive scale.
As the Christian religion teaches that the bible is the "Word of God",can that be taken as a confession of such an evil deed?

for example it states that god dont punish or award anybody cuz of his descendants deeds then how come did jesus bear the pain of crucification to wipe our sins?!!!!

I mean passages that no one can seem to agree on - Do you rely on your own reason and intellect to interpret such things? For example, Hell - A. a literal burnig hell? B. a spiritual isolation hell? C. no hell, but complete physical, spiritual death?

I'm curious because there seems to be a lot of Christians out there who think that just because someone disagrees with them, doesn't share their faith, or refuses to listen to proselytizing, they "hate' God. As an atheist who doesn't hate God at all(despite being frequently irritated by overzealous followers), simply doesn't believe in him at all, I simply don't get this line of thought.

Please be serious and respectful in your answers. Don't tell me to go to church, that you're praying for me, that I'm going to Hell, etc. I've heard it before, it's not going to change my mind, nor does it answer my question. Such comments will be ignored.

And for the record, I read the Bible just this summer, so don't tell me to go read one or that I don't know anything about it or God. Bible quotations are fine, I can look them up, but I also expect that if you do some quoting, you also explain your point of view, not just shoot quotes out there.

hey im 1/2 puerto rican and am visiting puerto rico this summer for 3-4wks and i really wanna know spanish i know most of the basics; not just hola, adios, mira, que pasa, como esta, etc. do you know what i could do w/o takin actual classes like online or somethin. and please dont say translators becuase theyre terrible. i typed in "ojos" from spanis to english to see if it would translate it right and it came out "roll" (its really eyes) please help me out here!

I'm not saying that only white people are racist .there's racist in all colour.And i'm not asking about any other religion because .I don't know anything about anther religion...But i keep seeing questions saying things like this a christian country .then go on to put down and insult black people jews and muslims .My point is this christianity is base on jesus christ .And jesus coming from where he came from would of been dark skinned arab looking .And he was a jew .How can some one claiming to be christian be racist .Be racist against any one of dark skin arab looking or a jew .Surely you got to be racist against jesus aswell

If that matter was eternal, why not just say God is eternal?
Plus, matter does'nt have free will, but God's knowledge has the will to make matter exist?


O yeah, then there are those that say.
Who created God, the chair does'nt ask who created it.
If god is eternal and above the knowledge of the metaphorical chair (a person), he did'nt come from any where he always existed, just like the big bangs forever existing matter, except God comes with that free will gift.
Want me to mathematical "Spell" it out for you.

0+freewill+0= anything it wants to equal.

Ok some(maybe all I don't know) Christians believe that if you act all godly and nice, people(non-Christians) will see Jesus through you. How can they if they don't even believe in such a guy or God? How can they see God through that person? I'm confused about what their belief on that is.

Why because a few guys wrote the bible and told us this. I thought nobody can come back from the dead.

But this guy who supposed to be dead wrote in the bible that he saw thrones and saw people thrown in hell. Why am I supposed to believe this. But because some guy have wrote it, it just has to be true.

Why do you believe in the Bible in the first place?

Is it really that difficult to figure it all out without a bunch of ancient metaphores? The world around you provides all the "feedback" you need as to how to live. Take responsibilty for your actions, and accept the consequences. That's as complicated as it gets. Your great Christian holy book causes you far more problems than it solves. Knowing how to live a good life is self-evident. Billions of people do it everyday. If you can't figure out life without a book, you're just looking for an excuse for your bad behavior to begin with.

Someone said gays are not christian, how can they be christian if they displease God?
Mav wonder if all christians are perfect. Mav wonder if Christians ever mess up? Do you ever not follow through with a promise to God? Does every thought bring glory? Do you read bible everyday, have devotional time everyday, do you ever cuss. Do you ever think something bad about a neighbor whos lawn isn't mowed? Do you ever have pride?
All these things are displeasing to God - but you are still Christian.
