I don't.

Is it really that difficult to figure it all out without a bunch of ancient metaphores? The world around you provides all the "feedback" you need as to how to live. Take responsibilty for your actions, and accept the consequences. That's as complicated as it gets. Your great Christian holy book causes you far more problems than it solves. Knowing how to live a good life is self-evident. Billions of people do it everyday. If you can't figure out life without a book, you're just looking for an excuse for your bad behavior to begin with.

I know, I know, technically it's not quite 2000 years old.

I love how people assume I'm advocating science or evolution.

I NEVER SAID SCIENCE OFFERED A BETTER ALTERNATIVE TO THE BIBLE YOU 'TARDS

I suggest that mature individuals can look INSIDE THEMSELVES and determine what is right and wrong without following a prescribed belief system.

Maybe this is just too "artistic" a challenge for the Christians.

Even if it was inspired by God, i'm glad He gave us free will, because of the anachonisms. You are right, it causes problems! I seriously believe we have to follow a righteous life, regardless of who or "what" tells us what to do.

Your response is very simliar to the sentiment that most people have these day. Most people feel that they can live their life the way they want to. If something they do offends someone else its their problem. They don't want anyone telling them how to live their life even if it was for the better.(That's probably why people resent the visit of Witnesses.) But we all live by some rules do we not. If we want to make sure a recipe, especially with unique ingredients, turns out right it would be wise to follow a cook book. If you wanted to assemble something you often have a manual with a list of directions to follow. Once you understand what it's asking of you and you know what piece to use, the directions would be more of use to you. It would be far better than doing it on your own which could take longer. It doesn't necessarily make you incompetant, naive or dumb to listen to a book. Imagine if there were traffic lights and rules but nobobdy followed them; they only did what made them happy. People could drive as fast or slow as they please, and what would that lead to, chaos. How ironic, this world is chaotic. Similiarly, instead of looking for guidance from the BIble, people look to society to set what's right and what's wrong. Unlike the world which is constantly changing its standards for the worse Bible's principles never change! The Bible itself is inspired of God._2 Timothy 3:15 This means God directed the writing much like a businessman using secretaries to write letters for him. We can be sure that what the Bible says is actually from God because its full of prophecy's that have always come true and were completely accurate. No human of his own accord could ever predict with such accuracy as the Bible does. Bascially what I'm saying is that the Bible is not just another "story book" but it is for our benefit.
Bible prophecy explains the meaning of world conditions. 2 Tim. 3:1-5.
It helps us understand the purpose of life. It answers questions like why are we here, why we die, why there's suffering, is there something to more to life, etc..._Genesis 1:27-28, John 17:3 & Romans 5:12
Also it shows how we can have the very things that lovers of righteousness desire most. What really is the Kingdom of God, what is our future etc. The Bible has all those answers and more! It's up to honest-hearted ones to find such truth that the Bible contains. The only "problems" come mainly from ones not following Bible principles. I probably didn't change your opinion much but it's something to think about.

Those men were told by God what to right and they lived life by God's laws and were blessed. It's funny that you think people know how to live life w/o the Bible. People don't do it everyday. That's why we have laws. If we didn't have laws people would run around doing all sorts of evil things. You'd think people would learn from the past, but they don't. Every generation makes the same mistakes the previous generation made, even when we're told don't do it. The reason why older people are considered wise is because they've seen the same mistake made over and over again. We need the Bible and we need God. Without God their is no consequences for our actions.

What you're saying makes a lot of sense. However, only the Bible makes sense out of what's happening in the world today, and offers hope for the future. Only the Bible offers an allpowerful Creator who loved you enough to give His own life and is still proud enough of you to tell the rest of the universe He wants you by His side. People who've figured out right from wrong have also figured out that they themselves are not always the greatest, so we need His forgiveness and his help. Righteous people like yourself are drawn to Jesus' perfect life and really enjoy not feeling alone in this world any more.

A little lamb of GOD sits staring at what used to be himself and wonders why it took him so long to come home.

If you would spend half as much time investigating the historical and prophetic validity of that 5000 Year Old book of metaphors as you do bashing it, you would come to an understanding of where your current wisdom is gleaned from. But you wont. I know you wont. You know why? Because then you would have to actually accept responsibility for your Actions. If you have all the answers then I ask you why in the world are you here trying to validate your beliefs?

May GOD richly bless you. I will be here when you get home. Love ya man!

Why do you need a 320 millions years old fossil remains of a man in order to believe the origin of mankind? Why is there a need to dig deeper into earth to know where we came from?

Are you so insecure about yourself that you have to "feel better" by telling the Christians and Jews how lame you think they are?

That's really sad.
