The war is over, and God won. We just don't see it yet, since we are inside time and space.

If God knows for sure that he will win, why he allows the war to happen? War it's worse than evil itself! In war, everyone and everyones followers lose, and so, the Devil, in his weakness and with less followers, does not want war. But God forces a war because he wants us all in heaven, and he cannot tolerate the free thinking!

Alot of the time I think the Devil is in the lead, and then I'll witness an act of charity and this restores my faith in the fact that there ARE alot of good people in this world. It really doesn't matter who's winning right now, it's who wins in the end. And even though I don't attend church any longer, I'm still a believer and I know who wins in the end.

God cast Lucifer out of heaven because he tried to "take over" Since then he has been doing "his" thing and God keeps him under tow.
You have to realize that humans have the freedom to choose what path they want to walk down, and that is to either follow the ways of the devil or God's way. That freedom was given to us. God will NEVER force you to believe in him. He wants you to, but it is YOUR choice.
You see, there is NO war between the devil and God. God could smite him at any time but chooses not to.
Your generation will probably be witness to the return of the Lord and the total defeat of the devil. No one knows, for sure, when that day is, but signs, to watch for, are given, in the Bible, and more and more of those signs are appearing every day. Just be ready!! Good luck. pops

Of course the Bible, especially at the very end in Revelations, says God will win and the Devil will be burned up. (The last book of the Old Testament, Malachi, says the same thing: burned to ashes.)
But, a man named Roger Morneau, who was invited to be a special agent for demons (he declined), says the demons told him they are confident that they, in fact, will win the battle for this earth because God is fair and honors people's choices (true enough), and they believe earth is going to vote for Satan! Jesus himself even said, "...when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8)
You might enjoy the link below, especially the chapters "Origin of Evil, "Agency of Evil Spirits," "Spiritualism," "Desolation of the Earth," and "The Controversy Ended." (Don't forget to "vote"!)

are you kidding? wowow. go to church. learn something. wickedness was never happiness, good always overcomes evil. God is everything. certain things have to happen for the resurrection to happen.
and in order for us to be back in His presence, satan will have his time - after that satan will be banished, and God will know who has served Him. and those that have followed God to the end, has passed the test and will have eternal life. those that wont listen and follow satan, will burn in hell for all eternity.
God has already planned all this out. if you even think that Satan is any where near winning, you better start praying and get your act together. Satan is scared and is rushing around grabbing all he can.
he knows the end is coming, and he is not gaining ahead of God, not by a cows tongue.
God will win, because He is God - and He is righteousness. please read the Bible, it is explained in there.
i dont think God will win, I know He will win.

God is always winning. It's hard to comprehend, and then you wanna say well why are they at war then? It's more like the devil is constantly trying to get at people, to destroy them, and God is constantly fighting for that person. It's rather sweet :) When the battle rages deep within your soul, and the enemy tries to deceitfully distract you from your goal, remember that the Good Shepherd not only fights for you, but celebrates your victories before they're even through.

I don't know if they are at war. But I think an ideal state would be balance, or homeostasis. Both sides would be integrated into a healthy, all-encompassing whole and would not be 2 separate "sides" anymore. Just 1 great force. I'm so happy as I think of this! :)

Satan is presently the god, little "g" of this world. One day the title deed to the earth, which was relinquished to the devil when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, will be taken back by Jesus Christ. Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire, and Jesus will rule and reign forever.
No contest; Jesus wins. Read the "end" of the book...i.e., the bible.
