If you normally drop your cigarette ends on the floor when finished are you the type of person who would do he same with a crisp packet or an empty coke can etc?
I'm guessing that most of you wouldn't dream of dropping litter in the streets, but if its 'only' a cigarette butt it doesn't count?

I dont think so. we do more of hating the sinner than the sin by far. The sin is prevalent, and the media focuses on the sinner. when you see a child molester on tv, do you hate him or love him?

If you were offered all the knowledge of the world including the knowledge of whether god exists or not and other such religious/agnostic dilemmas would you take it or would you deny it and choose to believe whatever you choose to believe?

Forgive the Matrix style analogy, it just seemed to fit.

...that there are so many amazing things to see in the world? Countless natural wonders that nearly choke me with beauty, architectural gems that over-awe me, so many people to meet and make friends with, so many cultures to experience and memories yet to be born?

How am I meant to see for myself all of the wonders that are on the TV every day? I think I'd die a long time before I saw half of those things....

Why do we dress our children up in silly costumes and send them out to pester our neighbors for candy? Shouldn't this be a holiday for "celebrating" the dead? I'm looking for good answers, possibly with websites to support those answers.

please tell me? and my bigger questions is about Jesus but why ask if they wont let me- :D a Jew that let Jesus into my heart to forgive my sins and help me so i got a good reason to ask good questions 2 were about prayer -do you pray, and has God answered any prayer? and then two other ones-just check it out I'm not lying. thanks alot and peace to you-and to yahoo too-i love this place cause i prayed for Jesus to forgive them so i dont have any grudges!

I was reading in the bible where it said in 2 Corinthians 10:20-22 - “I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.”
It seems to me that Halloween is "drinking with from the cup of Demons.
Tell me what you think.. Just seems that if the Holiday was originated with pagan traditions, and clearly deals with spiritism, and the bible clearly condemns spiritism in Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
In Oct you celebrate demons, and satan worship, but in Dec you supposedly celebrate Jesus birth?
Give me your thoughts!

believe that earth is created &/or rule by a God. Buddhism is not a religion of faith and worship owing allegiance to God. That is simialr to atheism, isn't it. Could any buddhist & atheists comment on this for me. Thanks!
