If you are a Christian (have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ), then there is no need to fear death. In the Bible, Romans chapter 8, verse 1 says: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. And further down in verse 15 it says: For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. Although it is impossible to live a completely sinless life while here on earth, it is vital to have a relationship with Jesus. With that relationship comes help with your sinful nature, and freedom of fear (including fear of death).
I personally have been afraid of death/dying, even as a Christian, but it is during that time that I have to look at my relationship with Jesus; is it real, or is it false on my part. Also, Satan and the demons (fallen angels) want to give a believer fear; make him or her believe that they are not good enough to get to heaven. Actually, that is true; we are NOT good enough to get to heaven, that is why we need to have a personal relationship with Jesus, and trust in Him for our salvation; because of what He did for us by dying on the cross, and believing in His Resurrection.
So if you are a Christian, and you are still afraid of death, I would suggest you examine your life, but also pray to Jesus about it; He doesn't want you to live your life in fear, but to trust in Him daily.

I'm not afraid to die, because I know that if I do, I'l be with my Savior for eternity. But until then, I live my life for Him.

Thats a good question!
For me, it's not that i'm afraid to die because i know it's going to happen.
It's how I'm going to die that scares the **** out of me.

If there is not something you would die for, there is really nothing to live for.to be afraid of anything is against gods wishes for us. we must face all fears thru the power of the spirit of god within us giveing all our fears and worrys to him.worry is something designed to confuse us and not allow us to be free happy individual souls that are ready to go on and be with our father in heaven, overcome any fear with total faith and reliance in the glory and wisdom. and knowledge that our soul is in gods hands. if god can be for me who can be aginst me.

Don't fear what you can't change. Don't be afraid of death just get on with your life.

A quote I heard once seems to sum it up:

"Plan to live forever, but live every day as if it were your last."

...Anyone want to lose the fear of death? See Hebrews 2:9-15, esp vs 9 & 15:
9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings.
11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 saying,
"I WILL PROCLAIM YOUR NAME TO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION I WILL SING YOUR PRAISE."
13 And again, "I WILL PUT MY TRUST IN HIM "
And again, "BEHOLD, I AND THE CHILDREN WHOM GOD HAS GIVEN ME."
14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
15 and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.
...Philippians chapter 1 tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
...And finally, from Romans 8:
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
...I pray that all readers will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
