It seems that Geography plays the most important part in what religion you believe in. Not many Christians in the middle east. Not many Muslims down south either!

So which Geographical location is the best? Because there have been thousands of documented religions....

If a person doesn't believe in the one true God but just that there's some kind of higher power, is that person still going to Hell forever?

I'm not talking about auditory hallucinations common with schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders. I have had a unqiue experience this week - three separate times, and each time the person confirmed that s/he had been thinking what I heard but had not actually spoken. I don't think it's clairaudience, because that is defined as hearing messages from the spirit world. But this has to have a name. Anyone know what it is?

Genesis 27:26 And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.
27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:
28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:
29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

At least try to understand, Jacob was renamed Israel, and these promises were to him, not Ishmael.

If you say that you believe in the Torah, then these are true, unless you are not aware that you don't believe? Doesn't the Qu'ran tell you to believe the Torah? Or did Muhammed not know what he was talking about?

I went to a specialist today, somewhere I hadn't been before. I handed over my health card and the nurse swiped it, and said, "Ok Holly ... is your address still _________________? Is your phone number still _____________________?" I glanced around the waiting room, seeing how many other people were sitting in earshot - now all these people knew where I lived and what my phone number was! Call me insecure, but I really wasn't comfortable with that. I didn't say anything about it at the time, but how can I prevent this from happening in the future? Is it rude to hand over my card and say, "Nothing has changed, please don't repeat the information, it's personal" ?

I am New to Buddhism and buddhist meditation. Why do I get irritated inside with others that speak so unkind, rude, disrespectful, uncompassionate with one another? I left a very judgemental type religion to seek true inner peace for myself. My attitudes have changed quite a bit, but I find myself slightly irritated with others like I descirbed, even not wanting to be with them;unfortunately some of these people are my immediate family which I do love.

I used to go to church every sunday and pray everyday. I used to be a good Christian, but now I fell like God has been taken away from me. I'm doing bad things, not attending church, and not asking for forgiveness. I want to pray and talk to God but I'm afraid it has been too long and it is too late. What should I do?

With much tension in the world today which leads to serious stress and mental disease, many people are vainly looking for some efficient ways to reach spirituality and avoid unhealthy effects. Here, I introduce to you a free and easy way to it and wish you to successfully practice it, then give your feedback to encourage others.

My Master (and your Master if you accepted Him) says:
"The meditative faculty is akin to the mirror; if you put it before earthly objects it will reflect them. Therefore if the spirit of man is contemplating earthly subjects he will be informed of these.
But if you turn the mirror of your spirits heavenwards, the heavenly constellations and the rays of the Sun of Reality will be reflected in your hearts, and the virtues of the Kingdom will be obtained.
Therefore let us keep this faculty rightly directed -- turning it to the heavenly Sun and not to earthly objects -- so that we may discover the secrets of the Kingdom...
