It's frustrating, year after year to rake our yard in the fall (when all the leaves have fallen off the trees) and certain neighbors NEVER do, or do it so late, that much of their leaves blow over into everyone's yards that have been raked. This is a couple at least 15 years younger than many of us other neighbors and in good health. Anyone else have this problem? If so, is there any nice way to deal with this instead of keeping it inside and being frustrated with the situation every year? Thanks for any ideas.

" You encounter several difficulties, sorrow, pain, etc. You are mentally disturbed day in and day out due to several reasons. But you should ignore them with a detached feeling, "They are not mine, they are somebody else's.' They just come and go like passing clouds. As for Myself, I do not at all attach importance to them.

You should not think that someone else is putting you to all these difficulties. You should not blame others for your difficulties and suffering. Your sorrows and difficulties are of your own making.

The Kauravas tried their best to cause suffering to the Pandavas. But the Pandavas did not relent. Why? Only because of their unwavering faith and devotion to Lord Krishna. They felt that when Krishna Himself was constantly protecting them, any number of difficulties and obstacles could not cause any fear in them"

Unwavering Faith in the Omnipotence of God, Is it the solution to all those vexed problems felt by senses, in today's world?

I don't understand why he creates so much suffering and deaths. Why he will make you suffer for eternity, but then proclaims himself as the face of good.

My great aunt passed away this morning. She was 103.
Had a sharp clear mind untill about 6 months ago. Still sent out Christmas cards every year.
Do you know anyone that old that still has their wits about them?

From what I have been told by Yahoo! Answers participants, heaven doesn't sound that fun...It actually sounds really dull and lame.

it seems like people are telling me we just enter a sort of realm where all we do is sit around and think about God. That we are only fascinated with God. That we only do things that make God happy. That we are just like little brainless robots. That doesn't sound like fun at all. It's like you have a parent...he/she is really nice, but very demanding and all you want to do is make that person happy, but you are never happy becuse you never get to do what you want...

I want to party...I want to get crazy with other spirits in heaven...I want to try all the things that are too dangerous here...I don't want to be a robot...

Not all Christians are like this but a majority of them I have meet quote you should love thou neighbor but wish violence, sickness or death to someone different such as a gay(not a lesbian becuase most really like them), jew, a person of a different race, and so on. This is just my experience and everywhere I look on the internet, tv, radio, I hear and see the same negative crap and the way I feel we as Americans are still in the mentality as people who lived in the 50's and 60's very conservated and scared of change. I'm not bashing conservatives for each his own. I just saying we nned to change the way we look and approach issues dealing with our country and well being.

I guess what I mean is, I have been getting nasty racist messages from people, and I checked out their questions (if any) and answers, and they answered or asked a lot of religious questions. Are the fanatically religious all crazy racists, or am I making too much of this?

What the heck are you doing on a computer? This is a joke. Humor helps me deal with the horrible tragedy that occured in Pa. When then attended the murders funeral I realized they are much bigger people than I would ever hope to be.
I have treated many of them and they are the most unassuming, kind people that you could ever meet.

I work at a grocery store and I see how the public treats eachother. They always try to be the first ones in line even if the person behind them only has a few items. They walk so slow and take up the whole aisle and wont let you around them
and when my light is off and Im trying to go home, they come to my line and make me check them out! Why are people like that? do they not realize what assholes they are being? Sheesh!

Ok,here's the deal.
Two years ago,my parents and her parents stopped me and my best friend from being friends.(VERY LONG STORY.)
We hadn't talked to each other for a year, but now we are talking to each other in secret.
We had been best friends since the second grade.
And..
I'm in 8th grade.
After that incident happened,I still felt like she was my best friend.
I saw her at the movies, like, two months after the incident, and we talked and went over about how that wasn't our faults..
Her parents to move house
But..
they haven't moved yet.
i think it's cuz of God.i want to hang with her
i live one street away from her
i miss her

When the music fades,
and all has sliped away
there is just one thing.

I'll bring you more than a
song;cuase a song in itself
is not what you have required
you serch much deeper within to
the way things have been.Your looking
into my heart.

I'm coming back to the heart of worship,
it's all about you, all about you Jesus.
I'm sorry Lord for the things I've done,
it's all about you, all about you Jesus.

I'll bring you more than a
song;cuase a song in itself
is not what you have required
you serch much deeper within to
the way things have been.Your looking

I'm coming back to the heart of worship,
it's all about you, all about you Jesus......

Again, I will say, first and foremost I respect all beliefs, but stand strongly by my own. I recieved many wonderful answers to my question posted here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

I recieved one answer that I thought was particularly interesting. It basically stated that being non-denominational doesn't exist, you are just creating another denomination? I agree with this from some points and from other points I don't. Please give your opinions on this. Thank you so much, and God bless!!

Kiara

p.s. (yes i realize i have already posted this question, but i believe i put the title in wrong wording so people took offense, which I didn't mean to do)

If we understand that a person loses, beyond the five senses, the consciousness? One only vegetates and when one dies, all the information in the brain is destroyed.
What would be the human illusionism that makes us believe in spirits, souls, saints and other abstracts that are not only based on DNA and RNA genetics (formed by billions of chemical bases) in the parents, passed on to their children?
