From what I have been told by Yahoo! Answers participants, heaven doesn't sound that fun...It actually sounds really dull and lame.

it seems like people are telling me we just enter a sort of realm where all we do is sit around and think about God. That we are only fascinated with God. That we only do things that make God happy. That we are just like little brainless robots. That doesn't sound like fun at all. It's like you have a parent...he/she is really nice, but very demanding and all you want to do is make that person happy, but you are never happy becuse you never get to do what you want...

I want to party...I want to get crazy with other spirits in heaven...I want to try all the things that are too dangerous here...I don't want to be a robot...

I just don't get why anyone would think of an eternity of no challenges, no goals, no accomplishments, no pride in solving a problem.... etc, etc; is something to look forward to.

To me, heaven sounds like having a lobotomy.

Hi there,

Wow your question was intense. I loved it though, because I'm sure at some point in life, everyone ask the same question. Is heaven worth going to.. like, am I gonna even have a good time? I can't tell you anything to convince you of my personal opinion but I can tell you what I believe heaven is like. I think that when a person reaches heaven, they have no pain, no hunger, no lust. You never sin, your always happy, and you never worry. You'll obviously never die and you will be perfect. No one will judge you and there will just be love every where. I think one of the beauties of heaven is that you won't have any pain. No physical aches or emotional hurt. I mean come on how awesome would that be, with this life we live now of always hurting people and being hurt by others.

You want to party and try things. Well, God is fair. If do good things in life(don't murder, hurt, cheat, etc.) and believe in God and Christ, then I'm pretty sure he'll consider you. And ask for forgiveness WITH remorse. Don't just say "Hey God I'm sorry for stealing 10 bucks from my roommate. You forgive me right? Ok thanks".

I hope this helps. It's all I can say. You seem like a person curious about both life and God. I used to be agnostic, almost athiest. And then I just looked another way and I found faith. I promise, something will happen to you one day and you won't be able to explain it. If you can't explain it, it's God. God Bless you.

there will be things to do in Heaven, but it wont feel like work.Work actually is part of the consequeces that Adam and Eve commited. Things feel like work down here cause we have sin in the world.Things wont feel like work up there; they will be much more enjoyable

And when given the prospects of the other place, I think you would change you mind real quick if your unluky enough to go there or even get a glimps of it. My mother had a dream about being in Hell;A dream God(Jesus Christ) gave her to tell her that here actions were leading her to a path of death and destructions. And from what my mom described it is not a place to go vacation by any means.

So even if Heaven turns out to be one of the top ten boringest placest ever; it's still much, much, much, much, much better than the lake of fire.

My personal belief is that this earthly life is our preparation for eternity where we will still be working on our journey...I think I will be dancing with the saints, etc. I do think we will be very busy and having a joyous time. At age 64 i am taking bible courses which I have not done in 10 years!!! Not knowing how long I will live, I want to be as prepared as i can be......want to know the WORD....and be as armed as I can possibly be.....get real excited thinking about heaven.

God is a creator. I think he is still creating. When we get to Heaven, I believe we will in some way play a part in God's work. I think that would be very interesting and very challenging.

More fun than you, or any non-christian, can imagine. It is only people who don't know God who tell you those things.

1Co 2:9 - "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'"

Hear Hear. No one knows what heaven will be like, except dead people. I'm hoping God will let enjoy ourselves doing things we liked to do here on earth. If I'm right, there's a giant drumset in heaven waiting for me.

Heaven is the dwelling place of God and his angels and to the 144,000 that Jesus bought from the earth with his blood. The rest of righteous mankind will live on the earth forever and the earth will become a paradise. Heaven is a government, it has God, Supreme ruler, King of Eternity, our Father an Creator, it has Jesus Christ, son of God, God's appointed King for Christ's millennial rule, the 144,000 who will be priests and associate kings with Christ Jesus and will rule over the earth, and the rest of God's angels and spirit creatures. God uses the angels as messengers.
