I can't answer your question, but I know how you feel. I also am a cashier, and I see the same thing. All I know is that it has changed me on how I act when I go out somewhere. I am more considerate of people. I also now when I don't want something I go and put it back myself! I hate when people place things all over the check out lanes! It is so rude! I am just dreading the holidays!!

Being considerate is definitely declining these days. Just today I drove my mom up to the BP to get a bag of ice. Ended up parking in front of the gas pumps and it's a tiny parking area. Well some lady in a mini van parks at the pump and there was no way I could of gotten out. Which isn't a huge deal I'll just wait till she's done. I mean she obviously had to see she was blocking me. Well she goes in to pay for the gas first and stands in side chatting for 10 minutes! Then when she finally comes out to pump the gas she takes her sweet a** time and is doing other things. A 3 minute stop at the BP turned into 15 minutes just crazy!
I can also relate to inconsiderate people at the store. When I'm shopping I try to pay attention so if I'm in someone's way I will move. Some people however will block a whole isle, they see you waiting to get by, but they wont move an inch in till they're good and ready. I do feel bad for the cashiers who have to put up with people. Tiny things go a long way. Like holding up heavy items so they can scan them, not all the cashiers have ease lifting heavy items. Or if the bags are on the turn wheel just opening the bags after you take one off. One cashier thanked me for doing that, she said some people will close them after she's just opened them all.

there is not something incorrect with desirous to place your self first now and then. it extremely is a controversy of self-care, extremely than self-centeredness, and is related to your shallowness, if that's what you're extremely finding for. a million. take a little time on a daily basis to do some thing in basic terms for you. Make it some thing which you definitely need to do and brings you excitement. 2. have faith which you're extremely properly worth it! You need to preserve your self and accomplish your aims. 3. submit to in concepts a time once you extremely enjoyed your self, and prepare that self-love on a daily basis, with on a daily basis affirmations. submit to in concepts, we are able to not in all probability love others till we previous love ourselves. i'm hoping this enables.

I hate to say it but your message will get yanked because you said a@@hole! I know, because I am always cussing. The Man hates free speech! The answer to your question is simple, parents. Everybody is taught by their parents on how they should act and live life. If they aren't taught by the parents then the parents cause the child to be who they are in life. Then they inturn teach their kids, or cause their kids to be worse. But they won't stop to look in the mirror because it's something that you can't change in a person, unless you are the parent and they are the child.

I agree society really has no respect for others. Look at the things that are held highest in our society......entertainment/entertainers. Look at their behavior. Case in point the movie Jackass, just about anything on MTV, look at the behavior of celebrities. What sells magazines the most (as a checkout clerk I'm sure you see a lot of em) but it's bad behavior. You always see badly behaving celebs being glorified on the cover of magazines. We're just a society that adores bad behavior so naturally we're going to mimic what we adore. Too bad more people don't adore God.

Most people are only concerned about themselves and not those around them. Very sad but true.
